You are a half sibling to Calvinists.
Calvinists say we cannot believe and obey until AFTER we are saved.
You say we can believe, but that we cannot obey until after we are saved.
You both are just as lost as the other.
You're talking through your hat. If your wearing one? If not, you're
just confused and lost. Seeking to win eternal life through your
"supposed" obedience, is not the correct route to take.

Obeying Jesus is how we live through Jesus, and it is how Jesus lives through us.

I can give you scripture to everything that I preach. However, you try to dismiss those scriptures by saying, "That is not to us", and "That was before the DBR".
You have all kinds of excuses why YOU WON"T BELIEVE AND OBEY JESUS.

it is worthless to give scripture as an answer to much of anything ... that is, anything other than what a 10 yr old child can u/stand...
meaning:
a 10 yr old can understand Love your neighbor as yourself
but a 10 yr old cannot understand difficult passages in the Bible that even theologians have a hard time interpreting.
that is why Christ founded a CHURCH

the only Church ("church") that has been around since the beginning, since Christ ascended into Heaven is the Roman Catholic Church.
All others came after the16th century

You are making excuses why you will not obey Jesus.
You are saying things that the Bible does NOT say.
Your teachers are false.
Jesus can be your teacher, if you would only believe and obey him.
Jesus is the Church that the gates of Hell will not prevail against.
Think about it more.
Why does Jesus say the GATES of Hell?
That is about Jesus going to Hell after he died, and how the gates of Hell could not prevail against him.
The church is Jesus Christ and true worshipers.
You are a Catholic, and Catholics do NOT obey Jesus.
