I liked that too, but I don't understand the title as it relates to the work. What am I missing?

It can't be the lamp, it couldn't cast its own shadow, right? Plus the light would be coming from two directions to cast two shadows, so it has to come from where... the dark trees? If the shadows are the trunks of the dark trees, then there has to be a light source behind the trees then, right? Which would also have to light up the trees to some extent.
Can't be, if you look at it again.

Love Bill Nighy. Have you seen Page Eight? Reminds me of some of the Alec Guinness spy films. Subtle and subdued, anchored by terrific, understated performances. Really enjoyed it.
