  • I suspect he's a known quantity and his tendency to petty complaint is self defeating. Stripe has thrown a couple your way as well, though nothing like Sod.
Figured as much. You have to have something wrong not to be embarrassed by spending that much unanswered energy, should understand everyone reading has to see it...peculiar. You know what's a little funnier though? I just started another Cub Reporters after taking a year off and the thing I noticed in short order is that while he may be more obsessive about me, he's almost as driven to report your posts, while leaving mine to his public harrumphing. :chuckle:
Why thank you, kindly. I have to believe none of the mods have been following the conversation because the couple of looks I've given through that window at his nonsense were just remarkably fixated, trollish examples of stalking. Bizarrely immature and hard to miss. Ah, well.
    :chuckle:

That game, I had repressed it

Every time I hear that crash sound, a part of me dies...
One advantage of this place. Used hifi equipment is quite a lot cheaper here compared to used prices internationally since the market for it is so small here.

I will try Ligeti tomorrow, I love that piece. I have a feeling the neighbors wont appreciate loud classical music at 1AM
Checked out Max Richter`s latest album "Three worlds" today, was quite alright.

Gotten myself this beautiful set of Audio Note speakers with a Rogue Audio Cronus transistor amplifier. They play absolutely gorgeous together. Tried playing 24 bit 92khz SACD recording of Keith Jarrett`s Köln concert on it using a Musical Fidelity DAC. It is absolutely insane :chuckle:
I`m doing alright. Keeping busy with the varied tasks of the ministry :)

This place seems to be the same old tidal wave of raw sewage that it has been for a good while now  Flat earth and Trump, this forum is going places, not Harvard, but places :plain:

    How are you?

    :e4e:

    :plain:
Thanks. I broke my nearly two month diet from the fat of Sod's posting tonight after seeing a flurry of posts by him on my heels following my back and forth with Stripe. Did you know "View Post" can open a window without taking someone off ignore? I clicked it out of curiosity on the point and it's so. As I suspected, Sod was parroting support for Stripes abuse of the "it's a fallacy!" declaration without connection. So I weighed in one more time to demonstrate that neither of them seem to understand half of what they claim. He posted almost immediately thereafter (sod) but that was enough for me for another couple...or more.

It was like watching a bad movie and realizing you'd already sat through it.
    :chuckle:

Remember our llama days? Those were the days, my friend.... I thought they'd never end....

    Sleep well, chat soon. :)
We can have some crazy weather here in the states. I wouldn't be caught dead living in tornado county, I'd much rather live in earthquake country...

You're very, very, muchly welcome!! :D

Heading out soon, have school the next three days now, but will try and post here and there as I'm able. Can't let anyone think I'm normal or anything. :chuckle:
Some places in the Sierras (California's 'spine') have gotten as much as 23 ft. of snow since Jan. 1. A boon for ski resorts and our water supply for the coming year, but on a more serious note lives have been lost so that's a sobering part of it.

Enjoy your music. Such as it is.
    :( Oh... that hurts.

Rain is always hoped for during the rainy season, and San Diego is weathering it all right, the worst is north of us.

Check out the animation of the 'atmospheric river' streaming across the Pacific towards California. It's about midway down the page. (Colloquially called the Pineapple Express.)

    That's NorCal, this is SoCal:

I'll take that as a no, then. :(

I'm all right, thanks. Wet is good, we've needed the rain for such a long time, but there's a lot of damage from flooding and landslides and trees falling etc. around the state. Some places have really gotten hammered.
What are you looking for in the music threads? All my excellent contributions? :D

I'm doing all right myself, thanks. Busy day, relaxing now with some takeout food and I bought a pretty bouquet of flowers for my table. Recovering from our latest rain storm.
