How ironic that America doesn't provide free tuition to all its students, like those countries listed above.

Most of these nations lack America's wealth, but still find the financial resources to provide free tuition for all those who qualify!

I wonder what that does to the cost of tuition in those places. I am of the opinion that the banks and government have caused massive increases in tuition cost in this country. College would be more affordable (and therefore accessible) without the government meddling.

Like blacks cant make it in on their grades and or they don't apply there often? Why do you think that enrollment should be 50/50 when blacks are only 13 percent overall of the population?

True equality is based on merit, not skin color.

I can tell you would never be accepted into U of W.

Again with the game. No thanks.

Thanks for admitting youre a troll without logic and arithmetic skills.

I don't see how you can deny any correlation between oppression and poverty.
It's patently obvious.

No one can overcome anything? Of course  you don't know that because you don't know Christ.

John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world."

You liberals think you have all the answers, your policies make things worse for minorities (just look to Detroit and Chicago and now Birmingham, Memphis and Atlanta) to see how they work out.

You push God out and your failures in.

How ironic that students from those countries en masse want to be educated in the US.

Yep, the balance of power is slowly ebbing away from queer, atheist blacky.

Does one sound racist/bigot to you? If yes, then you are a racist bigot, both should sound that way

Have you brought yourself to that conclusion based upon some idea of rational parity or an otherwise high-minded notion of fairness?

Just ask yourself one question: when ever has the concept of racism ever came close to embracing the virtues of reason or fairness?

Historically yes..

Though you needn't bother to exclaim such.

This is what I mean, you are using circumstances form the past, then applying them to today.

It is important to use modern and relative issues, such as, the 'reversal of fear' nexus witnessed as possible underline causes facing overreaction of a fear response when police deal with black men.

You cannot cut and past the liberal agenda of 50 years ago and apply it to issues faced today. You young liberals need to make your arguments relevant.

Odd...this almost sounds like a rightie justification for ghetto distressed police profiling...not the liberal argument you seem to allude.

Sure I can. White privilege goes back quite a few years...seems a logical place to start, yes?

Compare total expenditures for education in those countries to total expenditures for education in our country. You may find out that education is much cheaper there and therefore less of a burden on government.

The goal of socialism is communism, that is why it always fails.

Don't expect Mr. Liberal to think two squares ahead, though

They acquired their wealth prior to adopting socialism. Their economies have not grown and depend upon immigrant labor.

is this one of those "alternative facts"?

From the Atlantic....

"American colleges are educating more international students than ever before, according to a new report, “Open Doors Report on International Educational Exchange,” released by the Institute of of International Education. The widely anticipated report finds that nearly 1 million international students—many of them from countries such as China, India, Kuwait—were educated in the United States in the 2014-15 school year, up 10 percent from the previous year. These students typically arrive with the means to pay the full price tag for college."

How many students who attend college in that list of countries have the means to pay the full price tag of college in America?

Once you have that answer, then we will see who has alternative facts.

If you define socialism as the amount of welfare spending , then those countries are indeed very socialist. But that socialism is in stark contrast the socialism of Cuba and Venezuela.

The welfare spending of your list of countries has really very little effect on their respective economies. The reason these countries are affluent is because of the economic policies they employ and their treatment of business. They don't punish their businesses with high taxes and regulations like America does.

When you factor in the huge spending on defense in America, you find another reason why America falls behind them in affluence.
