No, in fact that's contrary to what I said and how I went about my business until you guys willfully did what I rejected doing. Okay. Now it's pinball.
You know I love you Kat, but the first time you said something like that you had a few thousand rep to my few hundred. Now I have fourteen thousand half playing at a return game and you have, what, sixty plus thousand and climbing?
I have no illusions that nearly anyone outside of soots will be allowed within shouting distance of most of your membership absent you guys butting your heads into the rep ceiling. Like I said, welcome to the caste system. Such is life.
I can live with it, but I won't pretend it's anything other than what it is and if people are determined to press the issue I'll answer on it...if that costs me friends then they weren't much to begin with. For my part and the way I see it, no one was trying to do something to me, personally, so it isn't personal with any of you who don't make it personal.

I'm not interested in any rep for the sake of rep itself, from you or anyone else. Been there, done that etc, not interested anymore.
She's well liked, for one. But the ungodly disparity is because she's soots. So AB with his three thousand is never, ever going to catch up to that sixty thousand plus absent gaming in some more limited way coupled with soots abandoning rep for a while. It isn't about popularity, of posts or poster. Take a look at LH and outside a hard core cadre he's not well liked.
Why well liked AB and Anna's rep points are not as high as hers?
Because they aren't in Soots. There is a relatively small, privileged group within TOL and some of them gamed the system, repping one another feverishly or with weighted rep within the first day so that all the members who were active on the site had rep into the thousands while the next tier, people like me, were in the hundreds despite higher levels of rep being exchanged as idiots (also like me) were enthusiastically participating after the rep reset, responding to the idea of everyone everyone being closer together, about the number being more meaningful. That's how it was sold, but it seems now mostly to have been about giving that inner circle a bone.
No one died. It's just disappointing.
