No, you sent me one after, and i sent you 2 then i ran out, i know what i did.
It sure has, in heated thread with sum, i would rep you and rusha and other people and revolved till they were all out.
A whole lot of people here know good and well i have sent multiple reps to them in single days in a fast moving thread. I nearly always use all my reps.

Well... that about does it for me. Have to run, I'm sure you're all going to miss me :chuckle: but it's time for me to get ready for the school week. I've got a busy, difficult semester ahead.
I'll be around, I just won't have much free time to do a lot of posting. And if I'm posting in politics, I can pretty much guarantee I won't be matching the prevailing forum bias, so you shouldn't have to check your list when it comes to remembering not to rep me.

Sorry, but I'm telling the truth. You've never, ever, ever given out that kind of rep quantity to me. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt, and just assume that you have me confused with someone else. And that's all I'm going to say.

:think: The complaints about the reset are not about jealousy, but rather about inequity.
Insofar as length of membership, you are correct that Tam has been here for a good while longer than many of us.
As far as others, not so much. I have been here for 8 years and am also a contributor, yet my rep dropped to much less than several who have been here for a much shorter time period.
So ... that pretty much rules out the length of time and contributions being as the determining factor for reputation.
IMO, the whole rep reset has cast a cloud over something (the rep system) that use to be enjoyable for most. The numbers say all that need to be said.

I think you're missing the nub here. Look, say a decision is made to reset the rep scores to zero or a hundred, or say to a point where everybody's rep power is one point until that gradually escalates with accumulated reps. Now that would have been fair and equitable. Some people's rep would increase more than others based on a number of factors as anna pointed out which would be fair enough.
But that hasn't happened here. If everyone had the same rep power (or similar at least) since the reset then it would have been impossible for those of you with scores in the multiple thousands to have accumulated that by regular forum usage. You could use your full allotment of 60 posts a day, every day in the last few days and nobody's score could approach that. It's a mathematical impossibility.
Look, it's no great secret that SOOTS members have rep advantages and that rep counts for significantly higher 'behind the scenes', that was out of the bag years ago. Whether or not that still applies to when you're repping in the regular forum I wouldn't know, but these scores aren't coming about through regular means for certain.
Tell me what would happen if say 10 regular people were repping you 5-10 times a day along with multiple other reps you are getting, your page rolls over so fast you didn't even get a chance to read them all or even see them all, what do you think that would amount to, and also consider that your rep power is boosted with each rep received and so on?
It would grow real fast and exponentially. Now figure it out if more than 10 regular people were doing it daily.

Christians, and like minded, so it stands to reason they would be repping each others posts more often, especially when they believe the same.
