The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

Redemption is the result of the Ransom, for the ransom payment is so that Redemption may be set in motion; make active , for they must go hand in hand, like we here Ps 49:7

7 None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him: The Lone exception is Jesus Christ, who redeemed His Brethren !

Jer 31:11

11 For the Lord hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he. This Pictures how the Elect of Christ are ransomed and redeemed out of the power of the devil, the strong man ! See Luke 11:21-23

Hos 11:14

14 I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.

And next, even though the words arent together in the same verse, they are in the same immediate context here Isa 35:9-10

9 No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:

10 And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

And notice Vs 8 of the same context Isa 35:8

And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.

It is the way that the ransomed and redeemed shall walk therein ! This does not speak of any possibilities or contingency, that it may or may not occur, but its one of the sure shalls of God !

And the way spoken of is none other that Jesus Christ, their Redeemer, He is the Way to God Jn 14:6

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

And He is that Narrow and Unpopular way Matt 7:14

14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Hes that narrow way that Leadeth to Life, Jn 14:6 and its this way all the ransomed shall go 1 Tim 2:6

6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

Thats the same ransomed of Isa 35:8-10 !

Now if it is never the case for one, then they simply were not part of the All of 1 Tim 2:6 !

The non-elect , also referred to as ravenous beasts,
have no part of the ransomed and redeemed of God.

The choice was never theirs. For the whole matter of Salvation
was established in Eternity according to God's Will and Purpose!

They will never have been given Spiritual Understanding
to believe the Gospel of God's Electing Grace Acts 20:24,
also known as TULIP, which Truths are directly from scripture.

Understanding the Truth is exclusive to the Elect
chosen to Salvation before the world began
Eph. 1:4-11; 2 Tim. 1:9:
Christ's Church, His Body which He gave His Life for Eph. 5:25.

2 Thes. 2:13
But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord,
because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation
through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth

It's Only these Elect "few" Mat. 7:14
that shall find the Narrow Way.

Praise Who?

The Only LORD God Almighty Psalm 150:1!

Dan. 4:35
And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing:
and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven,
and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can
stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?

Praise the Lord!

Do you know Him?

When did you accept Him as your Saviour?

Actually, I did nothing; didn't know anything about having to "accept Him".

I didn't decide to make a choice to receive Salvation, nor had anything to do with it.

Through the working of God's Power, He made me Spiritually Alive!

God has revealed to me through His Gospel, the Word of Truth,
that His Saving of me was strictly by His Grace Eph. 2:8-9; 2 Tim. 1:9!

How can any, a mere created thing, based on his own decision, dictate to God what He must do?

Romans 10:8-10 Modern English Version (MEV)

8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart.” This is the word of faith that we preach:

9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved,

10 for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Listen. To confess in this verse means to be in agreement with.

A man in the flesh cannot be in agreement with God, nor believe in his heart,
because unless one is Born Again, he has a wicked heart Jer. 17:9.
So how is his confession pleasing to God Rom. 8:7-8?

You see how absurd the rationalization of a man in the flesh is 1 Cor. 2:14?

Jesus died for ALL sin. There is no such thing as non elect, as elect stands for being a member of the Kingdom of Heaven. The Bible never says anything about non elect and a ravenous beast is a metaphor for Satan.
You make up words that are not in scripture.

Rom 3:23 (NIV) Shows that ALL have sinned and the following show that Christ died for all sin so He died for all. Once you learn to know the difference between redemption and salvation you will KNOW the truth.

Rom 6:10 (NIV)
Heb 7:27 (NIV)
1 Peter 3:18 (NIV)

Exactly, so if one does NOT confess/agree that Jesus is our LORD and Savior, then that person is NOT saved. Confession/Agreement comes BEFORE salvation, so the scripture does NOT hold or support SE.

You can quote scripture all day, you don't believe the Gospel!

Jesus died at the hands of the Roman Empire, crucified as a criminal for being a danger to the state. The writing placed upon the cross--although differently written for each gospel--tells us what his offense was.

After he died, men and men only characterized his death as a blood offering for sin, but this idea was actually not totally worked out theologically until around the year 900 by the medieval Christian scholar Anselm of Canterbury.

The quotation in the gospels of "ransom" for payment is the Greek word lutron which referred to the money a friend of a prisoner would have to pay for the prisoner to be freed. It wasn't anything to do with the spilling of blood on an altar. Besides, Jesus forgave, healed and saved many long before he turned his face to Jerusalem for the final time.

It is truly sad that an exclusive focus on Jesus and a moral Christian life is apparently so disruptive and alarming for many on Theologyonline.

The victimization, the anger covering up shame and the immaturity of most folks on this website is truly astonishing to me.

Nevertheless, I will continue to stress the authentic parabolic teachings of Jesus as well as connecting myself and the world to the great moral epic of the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament.

I stand secure in my faith and nothing threatens me.
