ECT The Most Misunderstood Passage in the Bible--Romans 5:12-18

Corruption is a progressive state. Ever watched a corpse corrupt? It ALWAYS goes from bad to worse.

When a person is corrupted his condition goes from good to bad. And once corrupted it is impossible to go from good to bad again because the condition is already bad. A person's condition can get worse but he can no longer be corrupted again.

So if a person is born corrupt then it is impossible that he can be corrupted again later. So we can know for certain that no one is born with a corrupt nature because people corrupt themselves:

"And the LORD said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves" (Ex.32:7).​

After the fall Adam lived 130 years and then begat Seth, in the image and likeness of himself, corrupt. Genesis 5:3 kjv Adam had many other children, but Seth is named because he is next in the line that leads to Messiah.

The obvious verbal counter argument to your false statement is bound to verses like this... Ezek. 18:20 ... and Romans 3:23...

Every man sins and fails. Thus every man needs Christ. Christ did away with the condemnation of the Law (Rm. 8:3.. Rm. 8:1) ... but He did not impute sin upon mankind via the sin of Adam... (1 Co. 15:22) seems to be your winning lotto ticket... but... uh oh... "Context"

1 Co. 15:55f - “O Death, where is your sting?
O Hades, where is your victory?”
56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.​

What did Christ do away with for us? (Rm. 4:15)

Hmmmmmm.... You would have to rewrite 1 Corinthians and Romans to change the premise that Christ did away with the condemnation of ... THE LAW ... instead of attempting to say... (Christ did away with Adam's "IMPUTED" Sin.)

The law was brought in through original sin... PRIDE. We were duped... And God's perfection was used against us by God's "Adversary".

How can "sin," which is immaterial in nature, be passed down to one's descendants?

Those who support the idea of Original Sin are steeped in the Gnostic belief that sin can attach itself to things corporeal. What a hoot!!!

Romans 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:​

Which validated God imputing the guilt of sin and the death sentence upon all the seed of Adam.

Romans 1:3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;​

All the way back to Adam. These are the dots people like to ignore.

Luke 3:38 Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.​
