The Most Dangerous Teaching

I believe that ALL "Grace Gospel" believers have "Spiritual Discernment" when it comes to hearing "false doctrine" being spewed." And, there's plenty of that on TOL and on this particular thread at this time.

Leave it to Gross Nick and his ever safe generic MAD, on one hand, coupled on the other, with his quick accusations and dismissal of others lest he have to actually prove a thing through Scripture he very well knows he can't and never has been able to.

Gross Nick is a fraud.

Plain and simple.

Thank God for Rom. 5: 6-8.

Build upon but not tear down.

Salvation by grace through faith is Paul's gospel, and it's as basic as you can get. No rites rituals or performing by the hands of any man. It can only be performed by the Holy Spirit at our salvation, as He baptises us into the body of Christ.

It's a part of the Operation of God, performed by God, the Holy Spirit. Circumcision WITHOUT HANDS, buried WITH HIM in baptism (also without hands), and risen WITH HIM through faith (also without hands).

Only the believer and God need be present for this Operation.

Colossians 2:11-13
11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: 12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. 13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

You think this was being baptised in water?

1 Cor. 10:2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;

Clouds and sea are made of water. He says cloud and sea twice.

Are you saying the Corinthians were not water baptized?

That letter was written after his journeys to people who had been converted by being water baptized, some possibly by him. Just as Jesus instructed.

His gospel was the same as Peters and he baptized believers just like Peter.

He thinks he can study his way into the grace of God. ;)

And he's jealous of those who have a faith he does not have. :idunno:

More of your holiness movement "led" nonsense.

Never mind the first word in the "mantra" verse of most Dispys - the word "study" (spoudazo - to diligently seek out a thing - as in that other Dispy mantra passage - Acts 17: 11's "searched the Scriptures daily whether those things were so.")

But it continues to ever remain is obvious one can waste a great deal of time pointing out your many inconsistencies to no avail.

Due to both your clulessness about your many inconsistencies and your obvious personal issues.

Back to often ignoring you, you go, clueless.

And yes, you're welcome.

Now watch you get that even that little bit, wrong, mrs spirit led.

:chuckle:

Rom..5: 6-8.

Are you saying the Corinthians were not water baptized?

The verse says they were all baptized unto Moses.

1 Corinthians 10:1-2
Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;

They didn't get a drop of water on them, because the sea parted and they walked through on dry ground.

Exodus 14:16 But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.

The cloud was a pilar that led them. There is nothing there about their ever being made wet by the pilar of cloud which led them all throughout the wilderness journey.

I would suggest you're seeing what you want to see.
And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
Paul says nothing of being dry because that isn't his point.

Where the Corinthians dry here?
1:13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?
