Unfortunately, he is Muslim and he has to accept that suspicions are heightened with them. The people who reported the incident were totally correct in alerting their seniors and the police. Or do we just completely ignore the fact that Muslims are the most violent religious group in the world?
I agree with this.
If someone at the school had become suspicious, they should alert the proper authorities, who are then supposed to know how to handle the situation. This is especially true for schools, as they do tend to become targets for people wanting to do mayhem. It's unfortunate, but these are the times we are living in.
Let's not ignore that all religions easily get seduced by scapegoating, revenge fantasies, violence, war and genocide. There are Christian terrorists as well and Christian militias that kill innocent Muslims.
It has to do with being accountable for our own humanity and realizing every human heart is a mixture of good and evil.
I also agree with this. And it's not only true of Christians, but of everyone else, too. Which is why we need to take special precautions when we find ourselves in a circumstance where we have to be wary of a group of people who are minorities, and are 'different' from us in some overt ways (skin color, style of dress, linguistically, etc.). Because that's when
we are most prone to scapegoat them, and abuse them.
