SAN FRANCISCO — The Silicon Valley enterprise capitalist Keith Rabois, onstage in January at a tech convention, mentioned his first selection for president was a Democrat, Pete Buttigieg.

And, certain, it will be a detailed name for Joseph R. Biden Jr. over President Trump. But Bernie Sanders?

At that, Mr. Rabois, who has been a prime government at or invested in LinkedIn, Sq., Yelp and PayPal, balked. Talking to the gang, he drew the road at democratic socialism. (Mr. Buttigieg ended his marketing campaign on Sunday evening.)

“I would definitely vote for Trump over Sanders,” Mr. Rabois declared.



He would definitely vote for Trump over Sanders. Sanders will destroy that party and the economy. Even liberals know that, except for a few pure idiots.

Also, don't forget.

Bernie Sanders IS the compromise candidate.

I want to see the billionaires and corporate CEOs thrown in jail, the nationalization of many industries and corporations and the total confiscation of all wealth of the billionaire/owner class. I would be surprised if a lot of people my age don't agree with me.

Bernie Sanders is proposing a modest wealth tax and a milquetoast social democratic economic agenda.

Fun fact. Most people who don't already have one foot in the grave aren't libertarians. And they also don't really care much about what the evangelical "God" has to say about politics.

I didn't crash the economy and get massively wealthy by paying my (non-existent) workers starvation wages for the past 40 years. Or by manipulating money.

I also haven't bought any politicians recently.

The simple fact is that many of the things that Bernie is proposing are things that the US used to have. It was called the New Deal. It was called the War on Poverty. Bernie's lips say revolution, but his policies say reform, reform that we used to have. Reform that the capitalists have been undermining for decades.

We've had quite enough with reform. It hasn't worked. What we need is revolution.

Bernie's reforms are the compromise position.

Ah. Right.

Let's not forget the fact that Exodus was a slave revolt, and again and again in the Bible, God reproaches, not the poor and the weak, but the wealthy and the powerful.

No, but that's not a moral question. That's a question of interests.

It is not in my interests to be deprived of my money.

It is in my interests to seize the means of production and deprive the owner class of their wealth.

Just like it is in the owner class's interest to tax the poor and the middle class more, cut welfare spending and have their own taxes cut.

Which is what they consistently bribe politicians to do.

It's called #ClassWarfare.

The capitalists are always doing it even if you want to pretend that there's no such thing.

As I said, politics isn't about morals.

It's about interests.

And the owner class know what's in their best interests. That's why they keep buying politicians.

I know what mine are.

You apparently don't.
