Well you see we're just going to have to disagree. Its a broad spectrum with people appearing all the way through it. It sounds like you're towards one end but not at the end. Some people are more in the middle and the doubts or curiosity is more predominant for them. I can promise you there are some people who don't have homosexual thoughts. That said in your child scenario if its not sexual attraction but curiosity then it is innocence and not homosexual thought. If considering your flat mate you were aware of an attraction then that was a gay attraction but were not conflicted enough to take it any further - you just don't appear there on the spectrum.

Fact is if you're having attraction to the same gender....you aint 100% hetero.

Oh you believe that when you die, you just go back to the ground and take the "dirt nap?" The thing with all of these different religions like Buddists, Sikh's and Muslims......they are wrong. The bible is 100% accurate, and even Scientists will tell you that the things that have happened in the bible, that there is Scientific proof of it. The flood of Noah has been proven by fossils found on top of mountains, and the layers of sedimentation. Ancient Babylon being destroyed, and God stating that it would not rise again, which it didn't, the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD happened just like the bible stated etc. There are many other proofs, but I am painting my kitchen while posting. If you had enough curiosity to do a study on what has happened just like the bible said that it would, there wouldn't be any doubt.
I have talked to people before who believe simular to the way that you do. At least they had enough common sense and curiosity to search these things out for themselves instead of taking their view alone. You try to rationalize God..He couldn't have done this nor that, men couldn't have written the bible, I'll go along with ya on not all of the animals being put on the ark, unless there wasn't a large population of animals. The bible states that the length of the ark was 300 cubits, it's breadth was 50 cubits, and it's height was 30 cubits. In our measurements, that is 450 ft. X 75 ft. X 45 ft. Now that is a big boat in length.
God can't be revealed to a person unless the Holy Spirit does it, but curiosity is a start, and God takes it from there. You have to want to know the truth instead of letting the Devil take you to hell with him....and hell is literal but then again, that is another Satanic lie that he has layed on you. Add a little time and that forms a mountain range. This happens in lots of places because thats how mountains are formed. Result is sedimentary rock from under the sea making mountains. Plate tectonics.
