Trump sets himself up to be hated by the media and even Republicans. If he would release his elementary grade cards it would yearly note "Donald does not play well with others".

Media wise months ago The Morning Joe team were believers in Trump and had positives to say about him. Then Trump said he was going to ban all Muslims. Scarborough took exception with that and said he disagreed with Trumph's policy. Triumph immediately went to the gutter and attacked their off camera affair. What the heck does that have to do with banning Muslims? Instead of staying on topic he went low. He could have gone on The Morning Joe and had an intelligent discussion. At worst it would have been an agree to disagree moment and it would have been a good exploration of the policy.

The VP debate was a total contrast. They ended cordially.

Trump is way too thin skinned, very high school, reality tv like pettiness. The president is the commander in chief who should set a high example of leadership and control. Lives are at stake. Do we want the military men and women to exhibit such child like behavior? Blaming and shaming. "He did worse than me".

If the media is biased against him it's his own fault. Fox News could be his haven but his low comments about Megyn Kelly caused that loss. He has no one to blame but himself. Guess how many foreign leaders he will insult except the wrong ones (e.g. Putin).

He will not build a wall but dig a very deep hole.

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump scrambled to prevent his campaign from falling apart early on Saturday with a hastily prepared video statement expressing regret for making lewd comments about women.

Trump declared himself a changed man, but raised the infidelities of former President Bill Clinton and slammed his Democratic opponent in the Nov. 8 election, Hillary Clinton, saying he would talk more about their past in coming days.

Disclosure of a 2005 video of Trump talking on an open microphone showed the then-reality TV star speaking openly about groping women and trying to seduce a married woman. Democrats have sought to highlight such behavior to prevent women voters from supporting him with less than a month to go until the election.

The video landed just ahead of the second presidential debate on Sunday night, which had been seen as critical for Trump to try to rebound from a dip in some opinion polls after a rocky performance in the first debate.

"This is nothing more than a distraction from the important issues we're facing today," he said, before turning to former President Bill Clinton's infidelities.

"We will discuss this more in the coming days. See you at the debate on Sunday," Trump said in his statement.

The bombshell development rocked Trump's campaign to its core and some Republican lawmakers disavowed him.

House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan withdrew an invitation for Trump to visit Wisconsin on Saturday and there were some calls for the New York businessman to step aside to let his vice presidential running mate, Mike Pence, become the party’s standard-bearer.

I wonder how much this will be talked about on Sunday's debate.

Meh, we already know Trump & Clinton are horrible candidates for different reasons all this news on both of them is just more of the same. If social & gender politics are your thing than you will vote for the felon Hillary because it is all she has got, if you are more concerned over the economy, SCOTUS, ISIS, & law & order than you will vote Trump. Really nothing has changed, it has just swirling the bowl with both of these turds...America loses no matter who becomes the president. :plain:

All this business about the "hot mic" and Trump's comments is a distraction from the peril this country faces if Hellary becomes president. Hillary made some nasty comments about the dozen or so women having sexual relations with Billy, I can only imagine what she said in private. Hillary hates other women and has likely said worse things about men, Hillary is not sweet and nice.

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are still running neck-and-neck as they prepare for their second debate on Sunday night.

The latest Rasmussen Reports White House Watch national telephone and online survey finds Clinton with 43% support among Likely U.S. Voters and Trump with 42%. Yesterday, Trump had a two-point lead, 43% to 41%.

I've seen some comments emphasizing the "10 years ago" part. I think that's just a smokescreen. I don't buy at all that those Trump supporters would care even if the comments were from a week ago. :nono:

Another potential hot topic for tonight's debate
http://www.bbc.com/news/election-us-2016-37595047

Transcripts of private speeches by US Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton have been released by the whistle-blowing site Wikileaks.
In one of the extracts, Mrs Clinton told bankers that they were best-placed to help reform the US financial sector.
She also said she favoured "open trade and open borders". Mrs Clinton's main opponent, Donald Trump, has said he wants to renegotiate key trade deals.
Mrs Clinton had refused to publish the transcripts, from 2013 and 2014.
Her rival in the Democratic primaries, Bernie Sanders, had repeatedly called on her to release the text of her speeches, which are thought to have earned her about $26m (£21m).

Not the time

Not the time

Tonight is not the time for Trump to start bringing up Bill's escapades and abuse of women. I mean, what's Trump going to do, squeeze it in while answering the person's question which will have nothing to do with slick Willy? The last debate will be better for Trump to bring Willy up, if he tries it tonight it might not fit in with the format

What difference does that make anyway, unless you actually believe a spouse is the cause of adultery.

Ezekiel 18:20 The person who sins will die. The son will not bear the punishment for the father's iniquity, nor will the father bear the punishment for the son's iniquity; the righteousness of the righteous will be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked will be upon himself.

What does Bill Clinton sins, have to do with Hillary? They are 2 different people.

Tonight (Oct. 9) will be the big Kahuna. Can Trump adapt? If he can then he's still going forward. If he cannot then it does not look good. How sad. The election was being handed to him on a silver platter because Hillary is an awful candidate with decades of baggage. If she is elected the United States will exist in name only, is essence finally be totally ripped to shreds.
