Is there an echo in here? Without the book there is only Jesus.

Well, at least we know you're not a literalist.

How about that TOL? Christ without Scripture?

Evil is as evil does.

No one who abuses others is in any kind of
relationship with Christ. The false Jesus you are in relationship
with goes by the name Satan.

So that makes you and Jesus the only perfect ones?

So what sins do you struggle with? Besides name calling?

At the moment, I'm struggling with your sin.

There's still hope for you. Repent. Ask Jesus for forgiveness.

This coming from the paragon of manners himself...

It's crap-throwing matches like this that make people wonder what in the world Christianity has to offer.

Embarrassed by your sins? There's still hope for you. Repent. Ask Jesus to remove the shame.

Yeah, I leave my life and eternity up to anonymous people on the internet. :duh:

Yes, I'm embarrassed by your sins. But I care for you, so
I hope you can choose repentance over removal.

I think the best thing to do is to put "On Fire" on ignore, until he decides to stop his shameful and un-Christ-like behavior.

This is the first time I've put anyone on ignore here. But it's time.

Peace,
B.

The man depends on the book. You can't have one without the other.

While you great theologians have me on ignore, perhaps you'd care to take a shot at answering granite's claim that Jesus is nothing but a character in a book.

Remove your offensive avatar and I'll discuss as many things
as you like.

Our understanding of Christ comes from the book. Period. And the book was manufactured by the church.

Our relationship is outside of the book. Period. It's my experience. Your opinion doesn't affect my experience. Period.

Correction. Its a collection of witness accounts, which was
collated and canonized by the church.

But I agree that we wouldn't know about the person Jesus
the Christ without those witnessing accounts.

For believers, the Living Christ chooses to reveal His Word
and Truth through those witness accounts. That which is
revealed to our hearts by the Holy Spirit is understood
through Scripture.

Do you or don't you have a personal relationship with Jesus?
