How the Gospel Refutes All Religions and Reconciles Us to God

You are both in conflict with the word of God and the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

The Bible, which you reject, plainly teaches that Jesus has atoned for the sins of the whole world.

Where is your scripture that says Jesus has only atoned for the sins of some and not all.

The Bible refutes you and I refute you.

"And he is a propitiation for our sins: and not ours only but FOR THE SINS OF THE WHOLE WORLD" 1 John 2:2.
You must believe that sinners Christ died for, and atoned for, still wind up lost in their sins anyways! That means you teach that Christ atonement was ineffectual.

What about the condemned world this scripture speaks of 1 Cor 11:32!

The cursed goats on Jesus' left hand which were never loved or chosen of the Father Mat. 25:41!

Those who were condemned already John 3:18,36: Ordained to be condemned Jude 1:4?

The world of the wicked God made for the day of evil Prov. 16:4: The vessels of wrath He prepared for destruction in Rom. 9:22?

I see that you are still trying to convict God of being evil by quoting Romans 9:22. The "What If" Scripture. You apparently believe that God has built up anger and he creates people so that he can unleash his wrath on them.

This is just one reason that you don't have faith in God, nor do you have faith in his Son Jesus Christ. You cannot believe that God predestinates people to eternal damnation and then claim that you have faith in him. What you have faith in is a doctrine that was conceived in the mind of a heretic back in the 1500's.

Pate, what you have is a wicked heart/mind filled with hatred toward the God of all Creation and His Words, thus, a vessel of wrath He has fitted for destruction Rom. 9:22 and will remain so until the Day of Judgment, very quickly approaching!

Rev. 22:11
He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

There are wicked and unbelievers just like yourself, but God did not create them to be evil and unbelieving, that is what they chose to be and to do.

Did you not chose Calvinism? One of the most God dishonoring, Christ rejecting religions that there is.

I suppose in the judgment you are going to blame God for being wrong.

God created some to be wicked.

You find that despicable.

However, that's what His Word declares!

Prov. 16:4
The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

God does whatever He pleases according to His Will with His Creation according to the scriptures:

Job 23:13
But he is in one mind, and who can turn him? and what his soul desireth, even that he doeth.

Dan. 4:35
And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?

Those are not the words of any man, but of God!

2 Tim. 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness

Believe it OR not!

John 3:18, 36
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

That's you, Pate!

The Gospel calls for a response. If you don't respond with a heart full of love and thanksgiving for what Christ has done for you, you will die in your sins.

Those Christ died for are reconciled, made right with God while they are enemies Rom 5:10!

At the very spiration of life at procreation as mediate creation, man is spiritually dead with attendant sin at conception.

I was clarifying that it is at conception, not merely at birth; and it's because of previous encounters with the Pelagian/Barthian heretic.
You are mad that Samie showed how ignorant you are of what Scriptures say that people are not born lost. Jesus explained this in the parables of the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the lost son. Before the sheep got lost, it was with its shepherd. Before the coin was lost, it was with its owner. Before the son went lost, he was with his father. So with us sinners. We start out in life NOT lost. And to be NOT lost is to be in Christ.

You have no answer to this but ad hominems.
And now, you answered with silence, a better choice.

Not answering for Pate, but just curious as to what you have in mind relative to these words of our Lord: Matthew 8:11-12
11 And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. 12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

All of humanity has been reconciled to God by the doing and the dying of Jesus.

"God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself" 2 Corinthians 5:19.

This means that salvation has been provided for everyone, Hebrews 2:9. So that now... "Whosoever that shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved" Romans 10:13.

Beware of those who pervert the Gospel of Jesus Christ and promote Calvinism.

Religion is not an indication of faith. Religion is an indication of the absence of faith.

Do you believe that you must follow Calvinism, Catholicism or some other religion to be saved? Jesus is the one that claims to be your savior and the savior of the whole world, 1 John 2:2. If that is true, then why do you follow or need a religion? How can Calvinism save you? What if you are wrong about predestination? Will you be lost. Same thing for Catholics. What if you find out that the Catholic church does not save anyone, will you be lost?

These religions do not promote faith in Christ, instead they promote faith in something other than Christ and his Gospel. Religion, whether it be the Calvinist religion or the Catholic religion are all a diversion away from Christ and his Gospel. None of it leads to the truth that is found in Christ and his Gospel.

If the Gospel is "The power of God unto salvation" Romans 1:16. Then how can you believe that Calvinism or Catholicism will save you? There is no power in religion, because there is no Holy Spirit in religion. The only thing in the Bible that has power is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. On the day of Pentecost the Gospel came into the world in the Power of the Holy Spirit. Thousands heard the Gospel, believed and were converted to Christ, Acts 2:41 also Acts 4:4. There was no religion involved in this event. They heard Peter's Gospel, they believed Peter's Gospel and were saved. Plain and simple.

Which proves Paul's message that, "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God" (which is the Gospel) Romans 10:17. The moment that one believes the Gospel they are eternally reconciled to God by Jesus Christ, 2 Corinthians 5:18,19.. All that Jesus did in his life, death and resurrection becomes theirs. They are justified by faith, because they have been justified by Christ, Romans 3:26. No religion was needed. What could one possible add to the Christ event that would save them or make them better than what Christ has made them?

So, you're using the power of religion to dis-empower religion? ...how zen of you!

The souls Christ died for, were sinners condemned to die until He justified them in His lifetime, by shedding His blood on the cross. (Romans 5:9)

This was salvation worked on their behalf, in time.

They only became believers and realized their justification through faith, in their lifetimes, by the power and miracle of regeneration of the Holy Spirit; according to God's grace, and not by works at all.

How do others have assurance that are saved without waiting to death to find out they really were saved?

Nobody has assurance of salvation. Assurance of salvation is a lie. The only assurance there is is that God will keep His Word. Whether people keep their belief or not, only time can tell.

I have assurance of salvation because I am not trusting in myself like you are.

Then I beg you, father, that you send him to my father’s house— 28 for I have five brothers—in order that he may warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’ 29 But Abraham *said, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them hear them.’ 30 But he said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent!’ 31 But he said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead.’”
