Properly understanding another's intended meaning through their words (be it those of someone on a forum, or those of the writers of Scripture) is merely a function of Basic Rules of Grammar...applied.

It is the very first lesson one learns in Basic Reading Fundamentals: the rule of deriving meaning through how words have been and or are being used; etc.

Thus, whenever we find we have not been able to understand another's intended meaning through their words; that is often as much the result of some failure in Basic Rules of Grammar on their part, as on our own.

Hi and you are LAUGHABLE that God is not working with NATIONS today BUT THE NATION / ETHNOS is Israel , so who are you KIDDING !
Verse 16 says that IF any Jew turn to the Loed , then the VAIL is lifted and that verb ESPISTREPHO is in the SUBJUNCTIVE MOOD , which means Jews WILL TURN or NOT TURN to the Lord and then God is saving individual JEWS and NOT AS A NATION / ETHNOS ?

Answer if you can on ETHNOS ??\\

Does not as a NATION / ETHNLS / Mean GENTILE NATION / ETHNOS ??

He is right - God is NOT working with nations anymore - rather, with individuals.

The incompetent Interplanner actually noted a Dispensational distinction you - a Dispy - have somehow failed to make.

Paul's was an everyman ministry.

Hi and when Israel was set aside as referenced in 2 Cor 3:13-17 it was ALL TO GENTILES and that is one reason we have Acts 13 and 28er !!

True.

Nevertheless, the resurrection does not occur at the point of salvation of the believer. The resurrection for the believer is yet future and the believer is sealed by the Holy Spirit at the point of belief as a guarantee of the future resurrection of the believer's body.

lol, yep you have to die before you can be resurrected from death. Again one must be born again just as Jesus said or they will in no way enter the kingdom of heaven.

The reason we have many Acts 2 Dispys;

and many Acts 9 Dispys;

and very few remaining Acts 13 Dispys;

and many Acts 28 Dispys;

and now some Acts 9/Acts 28 Hybrids as Dispys...

...is due to each their study approach.

Case in point as to one aspect of all this that one supposed Dispy Position or another holds to - 2 Cor. 3 was not only written way, way before Acts 28, but it's overall content was evidently preached by Paul even earlier than when he wrote either of the two Epistles to the Corinthians.

Israel's fall and casting away as a nation was way earlier.

Luke 13 foresaw giving them a one year extension - not several decades.

An extension due to their not having known what they were about to do; that the Son prayed for their forgiveness of, on the Cross, Luke 23.

There that offer of forgiveness of their crime in their ignorance is announced as such, in Acts 3.

That would be the period between Acts 2 and Acts 7.

And a careful comparison of places mentioned in Acts 9 and in Acts 15, in light of Galatians 1; reveals that Paul's Gentile (or everyman) ministry had already been very active before it was made public in Acts 13.

While 2 Thess. 2 - written many years before Acts 28 - also shows "the wrath is come upon" Unbelieving Israel as a Nation "to the uttermost."

Hi and dispensationalism is a splintered group and only Acts 9:6 can and will stand a SCRUTINY and stand tall !!

We will be having a special speaker at Sunday School and be also be speaking at noon and is a Greek teacher at a GRACE SCHOOL and looking for him this Sunday !!

Should be a good time , for me !!
