What I keep coming back to is the photo of Wilson after the shooting. He clearly took a pretty hard hit to the face, and it seems to me like that corroborates his explanation of the encounter. Whether he could have acted differently is unclear, but punching a cop in the face is a bad idea, and given the physical disparity between himself and Brown, I could see how he would legitimately fear for his life and safety. And legally, I don't think it's appropriate to second-guess how he protects his life and safety when he reasonably perceives it to be in danger, looking back with the benefit of not being in the situation.
That doesn't mean it's not a tragedy, but it doesn't mean there should be an indictment either.

I had a small bag of weed and was going to smoke it with some losers in an alley. The salt n pepper undercover car swooped in on us and I made a b line down the side walk. Hands on my head against the wall, the black cop couldn't see the bag of dope in my fist, until he brought it down to cuff me. I guess he felt dumb but it was dark after all. He must have OCD complex. But he saw it and spun me around and landed a left hook to my jaw. I think that's great looking back.
I'd be dropping liver shots on punks all day if I had their job haha. Good fun. Like I said no hard feelings at all. They had the power to really mess me up if they chose to but God was in my life and prevented it. Ptl

Ugh. How repulsive. I'm surprised none of y'all has called them n*gg**s yet. The loss of Browns life is sad, HOWEVER JUSTIFIED the shooting may have been. The losses incurred by this shooting will not be easily counted. At least one life, plus I'd bet Officer Wilson will probably be gunned down, however many families that will loose their means of income, and it seems all most of the theists on this site are damn near cheering because it signals to them that our society is collapsing. Absolutely shameful. Words like punk, thug, gangster, etc are being tossed around. Does that make y'all feel better? Sheesh
