Nineveh said:
Is for logos to answer these questions:
What is the first death?
Death. The body goes to the dust, the spirit returns to God.
Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
(Ecc 12:7 KJV)
What is the second death?
The second death is also death. The body goes to the dust, the spirit returns to God.
Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
(Ecc 12:7 KJVR)
Everyone goes through death.
Some suffer second death after resurrection and judgment.
Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing in front of the throne. And books were opened; and so was another book--namely, the Book of Life; and the dead were judged by the things recorded in the books in accordance with what their conduct had been. Then the sea yielded up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades yielded up the dead who were in them, and each man was judged in accordance with what his conduct had been. Then Death and Hades were thrown into the Lake of fire; this is the Second Death--the Lake of fire. And if any one's name was not found recorded in the Book of Life he was thrown into the Lake of fire.
(Rev 20:12-15 WNT)
Later, all death is overcome. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
(1Co 15:26 KJVR)
What do people die to in the first death?
They die to this world
What do people die to in the second death?
They die again to this world
logos, all I want is your best Biblically referenced answers to those questions. I don't want to talk about your view of the lake right now, please. Maybe later. But first I want to understand what you know about the questions I asked.
Ok.
