The fact that fewer and fewer tickets are being sold for lower and lower prices and i see even more of happening when people see what their money will be paying for, will say it all.

2017: 5 teams had attendance under 90% capacity, Cin. Oak., Jac., Was., Rams
2016: 5 teams had attendance under 90% capacity, Was., Rams, Chargers, Cle., Oak.
2015: 3 teams had attendance under 90% capacity, Rams, Oak., Was.
2014: 3 teams had attendance under 90% capacity, Rams, Oak., Was.

Looking at mixed messages overall. Some teams are attracting more people, like KC and Dallas. Some have steadily lost a few, like Pittsburgh or Denver. Some have lost more, like NE. Some appear to be more reflections of their stature, like Denver's marginal decline paralleling their slide to the bottom of their division. Others seem to be tied to something else, as with NE again, which continues to win but which saw a drop in attendance of nearly 1k ticket sales on average.

Attendance Snapshots:

Dallas
2017: 92,803
2016: 92,539
2015: 91,459

KC
2017: 75,610

2015: 74,086

2017: 64,084
2016: 64,312
2015: 64,356

Denver
2017: 76,566
2016: 76,774
2015: 76,922

2017: 78,161
2016: 78,215
2015: 78,413

More protests yesterday as the 100 million dollars pledged by the NFL to the African American community is not enough.
I think you're seeing a division among those protesting. The more militant elements suspect the NFL is trying to buy them out, throw money at the problem in return for a return to business as usual. They're probably right, but short-sighted.

The motivation of the NFL is of no consequence. The actions and what those actions can do for communities should be the principal consideration, but when you get enough angry young men, insulated by wealth, you will see more than a few who aren't paying attention. You might note that the older and more experienced players in the piece appear to get that.

Isn't it time for Colin and the kneelers to go to the inner cities they care so much about and talk to the oppressed? They should be active in the communities and talk to Police and (sarcasm) the brutalized law abiding citizens who get "murdered" everyday by cops for no reason.

A few snippets.

After he first kneeled for the anthem on Sept. 8, 2016, [Brandon] Marshall met with Denver police chief Robert White in what began an ongoing dialogue between urban communities around Denver and the local police. He also pledged to donate $300 for every tackle last season to local organizations committed to addressing “critical social issues.” Denver Post, Sept. 13, 2016

Collin Kapernick has also gotten involved in the community first-hand, hosting a “Know Your Rights Camp” in cities around the country to inspire youth and teach them about proper interactions with law enforcement. Sports Illustrated, Dan Gartland, September 15, 2017

Miami's Michael Thomas has been involved with the First Step Program, a program designed to link local area kids with community leaders. He has worked with the Broward County Sheriff’s Office to conduct a ride along and work on the relationship between the police and the community. The Phininsider, Sept. 28, 2917

A lot of NFL players are involved in their communities on the issue and on a broader array of social issues.

Blacks account for a disproportional fraction of murders. So police pay disproportional attention to blacks. I don't blame blacks for feeling they're treated unjustly by police.

Do you blame them for resisting arrest by fighting, reaching for a gun or not following commands?

I'm against crimes committed by police, if there are any. If I thought police were committing crimes against my people I'd want to do something to change things also. Maybe police should be surveilled more, to vindicate them for black people, so that we can all see whether or not their concerns are valid?

(Reuters) - Papa John’s International (PZZA.O) founder John Schnatter will step down as chief executive by the year-end, the pizza chain operator said on Thursday, weeks after his comments on the NFL leadership drew criticism.

Not sure if this timing is a coincidence or not.

It's the TMFL. Transformational Marxist. All about feelings, not fact. We need a new AFL.

If you are going to watch the game, wear a vagina hat. Protest the WIDESPREAD oppression of women in 2018 USA. There is no WIDESPREAD mistreatment of black, women or homosexual in this country; just the need for TM's to inflame, to explode, to fuel crises.

Here's the reality of America. A script was written dramatizing the Fergeson court case transcript, to re-enact it. It was about 90% untouched transcript. Once there was a talent call in LA, most of the actors refused to do it because they refused to believe what the case found. The shows were cancelled. In NYC, there was one show, disrupted. That's what TMFL is doing to us and if you enjoy the NFL, you are ruining our country, dividing our country because of a farce imposed on the masses. The players are dividing this country from their comfortable million dollar positions, which is how communism usually works.

Those teams with attendance under 90% capacity have a history of not putting competitive teams on the field!

Both Chargers and Rams recently relocated their teams to Los Angeles and Oakland is in the process of moving to Las Vegas - all 3 are attempting to establish new fan bases!

Fans are particularly adverse at the end of the season to spend their entertainment dollars attending games that have no significance invovling teams that have been eliminated from the playoffs!

Liberals ruined football.
Trump and his motley crew of "deplorables" have perverse sense of American patriotism - they are outraged when someone kneels during the national anthem, but then actively undermine the credibility of the free press, the FBI, the Mueller Investigation and any attempts to prevent the Russians from influencing the 2018 Interims!
