The feminist minded do a bang up job of judging righteously with these subjects because their thought processes are adulterated.

It reminds me of Luke 18:10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.

11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

It reminds me of 1 Corinthians 10:12 --- So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall!

It reminds me of Matthew 7:2 --- For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

It reminds me of ‘judge righteously’.

So this thread issue is really about strippers now, and that what they do can lead to rapes and beatings ?

beatings are okay

burning them with molten sulfur is okay

letting them be torn apart by wild bears is okay

but we draw the line at rape! :sibbie:

because.....reasons

Matthew 7:2 --- For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

It is a HEART thing.

and does that apply to God?

Yes, it does.
His HEART is ALWAYS right, '...yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged. (Romans 3:4).

It reminds me of Matthew 7:2 --- For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

Isaiah 13:

Isaiah 13The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see.

2 Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.

3 I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness.

4 The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the Lord of hosts mustereth the host of the battle.

5 They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the Lord, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.

6 Howl ye; for the day of the Lord is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.

7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:

8 And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.

9 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

12 I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.

13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the Lord of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

14 And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and flee every one into his own land.

15 Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword.

16 Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.

17 Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it.

18 Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eyes shall not spare children.

19 And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.

20 It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their fold there.

21 But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of doleful creatures; and owls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there.

22 And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses, and dragons in their pleasant palaces: and her time is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged.

was God justified in using rape to punish the wicked for their iniquity?

no, you're dodging it, which is answer enough

for the peanut gallery, this is the question lifeisgood can't answer:

was God justified in using rape to punish the wicked for their iniquity?

the answer lifeisgood is reluctant to give is, of course, yes

yes, God is justified in using rape to punish the wicked for their iniquity

I think doser has shown what the Bible clearly says about deserving punishment for our iniquities, iow, the bad and terrible things that befall those who practice sin.

When have you ever seen God personally rape anybody?
When have you ever heard of God personally raping anybody?

His questions are of the Devil, In my estimation.
To even suggest that Almighty God uses rape as a punishment is unspeakably blasphemous.
Man uses rape for his own gratification. A woman who doesn't keep that in mind may find herself, due to naivete or stupidity or arrogance, in dangerous territory. She may become a victim who has not been careful of herself.

When our Lord Jesus Christ was whipped, mocked and nailed to a cross it was for me and you. He died so that sin may be remitted before Almighty God.
We are forgiven.
It is man that does not forgive,
to his own unspeakable sorrow.

These threads on rape have become opportunities for unscrupulous persons to delve into the pits of human depravity.

Yes, I can see how ignorant you are, but I have so sympathy for your plight.

Sympathy seems to be an alien concept for you regardless, along with empathy, humanity etc etc...

Being raped is no ORDEAL for a slut. It's no "hideous assault" for those who pass it out like candy on a daily basis. Poor little Artie. Are you really that naïve? Here's what it IS.

It IS a reward for wrong doing.
It IS wages earned.
It IS just deserts.

You're a rabid nut, plain and simple. It wouldn't surprise me if you thought women wearing mini skirts were "sluts" simply because of their dress. Only a bile filled crank would ever say that rape is "just deserts".

It can be a valuable lesson learned.
If you really cared about those sluts, you wouldn't make excuses for them, you'd be working to get them out of that life.

Oh I'm sure they'd be more receptive to the likes of you telling them that they're sluts and that they deserve to be raped, that it's not that big a deal anyway and blah blah blah...

:e4e:

Yep.....I agree. There are so many things worse than rape. I don't have to have been raped to figure that out. A simple dose of common sense should do it, and would do it if "rape" had not become some kind of a little idol set upon it's own little altar before whom so many bow down. There, I said it and I feel wonderful. :chuckle:

Have you talked to any actual rape victims? Know any? Have any of them said it wasn't that big a deal? I know one first hand and unless she put on an act of becoming a shell of her former self through the following couple of years then I guarantee she'd tell you you're an ignorant *redacted* who's utterly full of it.
