Not a fan although darn fine conductor. If you'd joked like that about Ligeti or Messiaen I may have had to resort to more suitable expressions of chagrin...

    :plain:
My speed was 343 and my retention was 100%.

Frankly, I read at a speed that's comfortable for me, and I really have no desire to speed it up beyond what comes naturally. I enjoy reading, I don't want to work at it - so I wouldn't be interested in taking any speed reading courses or anything like that.

800 would be impossible for me, but it's obviously served you well. :)
I don't know how fast I read, comparatively. It's just my favorite pastime and always has been.

My mom has a photo of me as a toddler in my crib - I'd fallen asleep with an open book on my face. :chuckle:

... There's still a possibility of that happening. :chuckle:
Really? I don't think too many people read the articles I post. :chuckle: I do it as a kind of a scrapbook, more than anything. Just fixing it in my mind for the history, because these are momentous times.

Hope things are well with you. :)
Hmm, I don't think he ever 'had the feel of it' to be honest...

Still, prob best to leave it anyway.

No, click on the 'insert image' icon out on the thread and after you select the tab to upload from a URL (not your computer) you'll see a box with a checkmark in it under where you insert your source info.

It says: "Retrieve remote file and reference locally"

It opts you in so you have to uncheck it before you post.

If you're uploading from your computer then I don't know what to tell you. I upload .jpgs from either the web or from a photobucket account, so I have to use the URL tab.
You know what's kind of crazy is they're not always the same size... either from photo to photo or view to view. They're all photos from my iPhone so I imagine they're all the same size, but they'll be different from post to post and then the next time I look at them they're smaller - and the last few when I look at them on my phone, they're sideways!

Anyway, the one thing I know I do differently is I uncheck the little box. That way someone who's not a member can also see them, because yours shows up as _DSC0583cRS.jpg if you're not logged in, and the photo if you are. Just like with Jack's photos. So try posting it again and unchecking the box (the post image box, you'll see it's pre-checked and you have to manually uncheck it) and see how big it comes through, maybe?

Other than that I don't know - and I just checked and on my phone the last three photos I posted are sideways. :chuckle: While on here, my laptop, they're going the right way.
There's been an increasingly angry climate in the country and that anger will always run downhill, find the easiest, simplest and most accessible thing to blame and act against. So everyone, Trump included, needs to be aware of it and mindful of it in how they approach changing that tide.
Unless a wheat grain falls on the ground... I am convinced that Christians need to pick up their crosses against the self-protection tide...
I don't have much to offer on that score - I was never much of a reporter anyway... I still will once in a while although my reports rarely, rarely get acted on. Wrong demographics for both reporter and reportee... but you do a great job of it regardless.

And thanks for understanding my sense of humor on the other. :)
