I think he's just hoping that if he gnats about enough then he's going to get that traction he desperately seems to crave. I've no idea what gets reported around here but if he's doing that then let him get on with it. It doesn't seem to be having much effect...

I've been careful so far about what I say about Melania. In her defense, she didn't sign up to be FLOTUS, and I'm not sure she wants it, or all that comes with it, and she's stuck with it now. She already had the money and the status, and now it's going to be a lot more work than she ever bargained for. I almost feel sorry for her.

And although in the early years of Obama I was too immersed in the right wing to see it for what it was, I came to despise the comments about Michelle and was ashamed of the time I hadn't seen it for what it was. So I'm going to try to be careful how I approach criticism of Melania. I wouldn't let her off the hook for her behavior if the occasion came to pass, and time will tell. I'm willing to give her a lot of leeway I wouldn't give to Trump.
