Did you see the Chiefs open the season against the Patriots? I'm sort of glad because we can get that first loss out of the way and the cloud of an undefeated season won't be hanging over us. :plain:
Another mod beat me to it. I was busy this week with the local Fair. I'll keep an eye on it. He puts it up again, he'll do a timeout.
Oh, I meant there were literally a few black guys portraying French fighters in one scene in the movie, or so I'm told by one reviewer of the film who didn't notice it until he'd watched in more than once. :idunno: So far as I know, there weren't actually any on the beach that day.
Well, I could be wrong but it's my understanding that the French troops of color weren't at Dunkirk. I'm open to correction on that though. And yes, I'd also read that the French were give short shrift. In my opinion though, it still doesn't take away from the film.
Re: February and sophomore: No way. You're pulling my leg.

And I can't do the Mt. Rushmore, I'm terrible at that kind of thing.

Oh, and desserts has two s's... :chuckle: But if you really meant deserts, be sure to include Death Valley and the Atacama desert. :)
    I haven't either, and I wouldn't. I couldn't be someone other than who I am.

I can spot one on occasion, but I'm sure there are ones I have no idea because our paths don't cross enough for me to be familiar with their posting style.

musterion said once that he used to post here under another name but I don't know what it was, he hasn't answered me when a couple times I told him how much he reminds me of Jabin.
Eh, reps are pretty much pointless outside of notes now really and SOD was really just inviting that one...:D Disappointed I ain't gonna make the wrap in a positive capacity for once though...convenient that is sir, in fact, and I reserve this word for special occasions - or lift them from contrived scenarios from certain sitcoms - it smacks of... malarkey...

    :nono:
I like reading your reports although it's kind of like reading foreign news, since I can't see the woodshed. :chuckle:

Bummer on the root canal. I'm sorry but there's nothing good to say about the process even though the result is worth it. Good luck, hope all goes well.
I know ... at one point since his most recent return, I *tried* to give him the benefit of the doubt, but as always, he has this huge grudge and believes he needs to settle a fictitious score. He is just not capable of handling disagreement or criticism of any kind without going nuclear. I have had him on ignore for close to a year now.
Oh, I'm not sure turns matter, and I was really addressing my own kind, as far as thread. I was trying to get 'them' to do better as I think they can. For me, obviously you aren't liberal, just have some of their concerns (probably are more empathetic to them than I), but I do carry some liberal notions from Carter, Johnson, Roosevelt, and on down the line. As much as I holler about misappropriations, I don't want to see the end of humanitarian concerns and I shared your concern in thread too, that we not 'us/them' as much as we do in politics. Shoot, I'd have to disown more than half my extended family! :noway: Nutshell: You actually helped steer it in a good direction imho. Thank you for that. In Him -Lon
