  • Oh good, at least you're able to get out, but how miserable when it comes time to sleep. :(

I'm worried at how high the number of victims will go. I can't imagine the horror. So very sad.
Sorry you're having to go through all this, and I hope you can get back to feeling better soon. Are you able to get to your course okay, or have you had to take sick days?

My condolences too regarding that terrible fire in Grenfell Tower. Such a terrible tragedy for both victims and survivors.
Was the doctor able to see your eardrum when they examined you? Because if they couldn't see your eardrum, they should have known you had wax blocking it.

My son had his removed with a tool like this, so if drops don't work (they didn't work for my son) then the doctor should be able to gently pull it out using the tool. DON'T do it yourself...
Oh no. :( I'm so sorry to hear that.

Hopefully the antibiotics will have kicked in by the 48 hour mark - are you running a fever?
The antibiotics should work, hopefully within 24 hours. Hope you're feeling better before you know it. :)

Now if we could only do something about that sombrero...

    :plain:
I'm no doctor but if you have infected fluid behind your eardrum I don't see how a topical spray would help.

    /non-expert opinion

Anyway, feel better soon. :) I haven't had an earache in many years, but they're miserable...
Ear spray? :liberals: I've not heard of an ear spray here that would help an earache. Yes, get some antibiotics, and hopefully you'll be on the mend 48 hours from now. :)
Thankyou very much for your money thankyou's .....
I noticed that you posted to me on the Dim Future of Britain, but sadly the OP has excluded me from the thread so I could not read your post, nor reply to it.

I'll see you on other threads, no doubt. :)
    All the Best, Eider.
