You answer to sod was great, by the way. I can't use the old rep system well because there are now so few people I feel like repping it takes forever to get past the machinery. Thanks are my go-to at this point. Anyway, if I didn't have a functional ban on Sod I'd put it in the Wrap. :chuckle:

It's gotten so childishly bad with Tam that I made a running joke about the over/under of her repping anything from a glare up aimed in my direction. :chuckle: I gave her some good natured help on a thread of hers recently and her response was so classically Tam I included it in The Wrap. The hard right are so uniformly unhinged and humorless around here it would be tragic if it wasn't a largely self-inflicted wound.

My only concern is the influence some of them can have on those who are simply conservative but who've been sold the us/them war mentality.

I think that is wise. They need the negativity and attention. We are both above such behavior.

I absolutely refuse to respond to the nastiness. It's unbalanced and serves no beneficial purpose. IF the intention is actual debate, easy to remedy ... the rules need to be followed by everyone.

They don't want honest *debate* but rather need to have someone to verbally abuse. SOD has been doing to TH, and the rest of us for years. I have most of the people posting on ignore due to the animosity and negativity that is condoned on a regular basis.

My friend's list shrinks while my ignore list grows.
