There's just one of me and I present arguments. You yell and stamp foot a great deal and run for the hills when challenged to sustain your claims. You don't merit sympathy, let alone the "ganged up on" victim's card you play there.

I've been ganged up on since day one. If it upset me that much I wouldn't still be here- I don't play the victim, but most of you do all the time, often while defending who they interpret as 'victims'.

I don't run for the hills- most of the time, you all ask for evidence and want nothing less than a statistic of sorts, as if there is a statistic for everything.
And even then, statistics are very specific about what they interpret and you all manage to somehow make grand conclusions which they do not conclude and call it 'proof'.

Some things can only be gathered with experience and observation, and instead of admitting that one is lacking such you just gild your bias, sow it in silk and become the kings and queens of your own delusions :wave2:

Everything yall post in that regard rarely ever actually support your bias. Just as you brought up court statistics of women claiming sexual assault- it merely indicates who and who wasn't found guilty based on evidence or the lack thereof (or coercion, judging by the known prejudice of domestic courts).
It has absolutely no say on how many women falsely accuse men of sexual assault. It doesn't address the claims that aren't brought to court either.

So basically, you drew a conclusion and consciously denied other variables based on that statistic.

That is why I am very particular when it comes to such things, whereas you all spam them like a possessed Texas Instrument and take it for granted.

No one cares about any of this nonsense. All people, all over the world, want the same basic things. And they move around as they need to, to try and obtain them. They also will abuse and exploit each other, as they are able, to get what they want.

So the problem is how to protect people from each other, while sharing the opportunities and resources that are available, equitably. So that everyone gets an equal chance at achieving, "life, liberty, and happiness", according to their ability.

But we are not doing this. Instead, we are allowing a rich, white, entitled elite to horde most of the opportunities and resources for themselves, generation after generation, while everyone else is forced to compete with each other for whatever degree of well-being they can garner, at each other's expense.

This is the way dumb animals live. It should not be the way we humans live.

You are confusing a lot of different ideas and motives, here. Bigotry is basically the puffing up of one's self-esteem through the slandering of others. So white racism is basically falsely inflating the esteem of white people by falsely deflating the esteem of non-white people. White people are "prettier" because they're white. White people are smarter because they're white. White people are more honest because they're white. White people are more deserving of social perks because they are white. These are examples of racist thinking. And this white racism does harm to others by falsely slandering them. Thinking they are not as pretty, or as smart, or as honest, or as deserving because they are not white. And it's this kind of false slander and defamation of character that leads people to think they can mistreat other people for whatever idiotic reason they invent.

I am personally not interested in Biblical law. I am not a Jew, and so I perceive no obligation to adhere to Jewish religious laws from three millennia ago (or from today, for that matter).

I am more interested in the Christian principal and promise that if we will allow "God's" love, forgiveness, kindness and generosity to act within us, and through us to others, we will be healed and saved from ourselves (from that animal instinct I referred to), and we can help others to be healed and saved as well. Love, forgiveness, kindness and generosity are not animal instincts. They are divine instincts. Fear, selfishness, cunning, and vengeance, are animal instincts. And so far, it's anyone's guess whether or not we will rise above our animal natures, and come to inhabit our divine natures, and become what we were meant to become. Or if we will just remain dumb animals until we destroy ourselves, or we are destroyed by some superior animal.

This is certainly true.

It's obvious to any breathing Americans that African Americans do better than whites in athletics and worse than whites on intelligence tests.

They can either try to find the deeper answer to that phenomenon or be lazy and just don't think about it resulting in them assigning it to race intrinsically.

The actual answer to both phenomena is in the culture. African Americans are not taught to value educationas it is a white thing to do. Whites don't spend anywhere near the time in athletic pursuits as blacks.

Just curious, do you have any statistics on how much time is spent practicing basketball by race? Are you just assuming that genetics play no part? Also, does it stand to reason that black children might play more basketball, and asian children study more math on average precisely because they're better at it on average?

Actually, i think that is racialism and quite rare today.

I think 'racism' is when the looks of a person has in common with a group and that group is seen as separate, and should be assumed as different. The truth is people have problems with the looks of other people.

Racialism is becoming more common again now that the human genome has been mapped, there's still significant pushback on studying racial differences from the scientific establishment. It will take more time to make grander conclusions on how genetics affect any certain attribute, but many genes and groups of genes that differ significantly between races have been shown to affect many things.

Lynchings probably weren't racist. Or, at least, they were no more racist than the current judicial system is. Blacks in the south were over-represented in lynchings by the same percentage that they are over-represented by imprisonment for violent crimes today.

The insulated, to be sure. Most whites. They aren't likely to be victimized or institutionally disadvantaged by it and it's human nature to mostly care about what impacts us and to be less interested in what does not.

I had a friend, a black guy I went to law school with, and he told me that the thing few white people really understand is going through your waking day having to be concerned about your safety, where you are, and how you're seen, simply because of your color. He said that ironically enough, when he joined the military he felt safer than he ever had in his hometown, that finding himself surrounded by brothers in arms gave him what he imagined was that foundational sense of security he'd rarely experienced otherwise.

Only sniveling losers care about this issue. I really mean that.

You feel the need to distinguish your being genuine? That's interesting in its own right. That you have to protect yourself from a lack of examination by discrediting those who are more thoughtfully engaged is an interesting admission, even if you don't see it.
