If you recall the "homosexual agenda" was brought up as sign if not cause of the end of the world.

The right wing seems to have this paranoid fantasy of some far reaching conspiracy that gays are plotting to destroy
a)Marriage
b)the family
c) the country
d) Every church in existence
e) fill in the blank with what ever delusion you happen to like today

The simple fact is that there is no agenda and no conspiracy. When people try to show there is you usually end up with misrepresentation like the above mentioned "homosexual manifesto" or blatant lies like the 1972 gay agenda document (written by the Family Research Council in 1991).


Beginning in the 70's there are various documents by Christian writers can be brought together to form a "Christian agenda" detailing the plan to vilify and marginalize homosexuals with the goal of mass killings. And unlike the paranoid claims noted above there are right wing writings that explicitly states that genocide is the goal. In 1985 Paul Cameron addressed the annual Conservative Political Action Conference on "the extermination of homosexuals" Cameron also submitted proposals to various Reagan staff members for the building of mass "termination" facilities for homosexuals. He proposed that these facilities could fund themselves by offering admission to families to watch gay being killed. Fun for the whole family.

So we have an "anti-gay agenda" one actually written by Christians with the aim of genocide...Should that be called the Christian agenda?
