What, you think evidence has to come from the vicinity of the act itself?

Never said it was.

I said it was EVIDENCE, a WITNESS, that the person is committing adultery, not a crime in and of itself. Nor is it proof of it either.

Flirting with someone else who is married and/or while you yourself are married is wrong, and is a good indication that there may be sexual relations going on, or that it is leading to a sexual relationship.

Um, no, because lust is not a crime. It IS a sin, but it is NOT a crime.

It should be....then there would be less crime. :chuckle:

Indications that a sexual relationship might be going on is not evidence at all.

Easier than between two consenting adults.
Which is called fornication, a crime, and if they are caught, the couple who fornicate should be forced to marry and never be allowed to divorce.

Physical evidence and victim testimony.
Plenty of physical evidence from having sex... And the husband or wife, the children, family, friends, and society, are all victims when someone commits adultery.
Now you're joking, right?
“If a man entices a virgin who is not betrothed, and lies with her, he shall surely pay the bride-price for her to be his wife. - Exodus 22:16 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Exodus22:16&version=NKJV

Both would be allowed in the case of adultery

So the husband would be a witness against his wife, and his wife would be required to provide "evidence" that sex had occurred? What if they used "protection". Would the husband have to confiscate that item by force to show the police?

This is playing like an old soap opera I used to watch.
