Jeb who?
Exactly! Jeb who indeed.....
Jeb who?
:chuckle:.Trump may be a "loose canon" but its America's conservatives who have embraced him and are supporting him in the polls.
Our conservative "friends" seem to forget that one false word by a world leader can result in the countless deaths of innocent bystanders - Trump can't get through a week with creating a political firestorm.
That can be excused by his supporters as a stand against "political correctness," but on the world stage its a formula for disaster!
everyone seems to foget that Trump was in favor of the Obama Stimulus, that he is in favor of single-payer (govt) health care, which is a takeover of a private industry which is socialism which is communism light
Right, that's my point with the thread. Only bad results can come to the GOP because of Trump.

I'm not Trump's biggest fan politically, but I do know that he's highly intelligent. He uses bombasticism and hyperbole strategically. It's a tactic that's treated him well in business, and also treated him well thus far in his political career.
If he actually gets to office, then I'm near certain that'd he'd tone his rhetoric down some. In fact, I bet it is toned down just if he wins the Republican nomination. And as he said, he'd hire the best advisors money can buy and listen to their advice instead of going into issues alone. Would he still say some things that might make some cringe? Perhaps, but he wants to be successful. He'll do whatever he feels is necessary in order to accomplish that, including toning himself down
Trump not qualified?
Oh.
Won't be good for America?
Oh.
Well Obama made it thru 8 years.

He will not tone it down or he won't have a chance. The more outrageous he gets, the more democrats he gets. He is speaking their language by not cow towing and not being pc. This is how you get them to listen. It's shock therapy. He shocks them and the media tries to catch him then he charms the public and the American says to his self, well he can't be that bad, look at his suit and he seems harmless...
No I don't think he will pull a Romney.
His Achilles heal is going to be the Latino vote and he may not be able to overcome their objections which is why he is coddling Cruz.
Good post. Something to keep in mind though is that the Latino vote is basically meaningless if you think about it. What are the states where it makes a difference? Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, and California. Texas and Arizona are going to vote Republican, and California and New Mexico will vote Democrat. That's what those four always do.
If you throw in Florida, then you have a toss-up state. But the Hispanics there are almost all Cuban, and don't have as much stock put into the border situation

Nah, Putin likes him.
I would hope, as previously mentioned by another poster, that Trump tones his act down if nominated and elected. His rants and improvised speeches can only go so far, he would need to shut his mouth and stick to a script. Can he do that ?
