Knowing this led to my being more content. Now, whether people equate content with happiness I don't know... but it sure helps us on our journey down the path of finding happiness.
Knowing that:
God commanded humanity to multiply and reproduce... then, due to the fall, God cursed the dust of the ground to manifest death in the flesh... but HE did this for the sake of mankind - not for harm.
In his mercy he made DEATH a process, so that it would allow human beings a chance to reproduce and multiply. You see, God is growing a kingdom of children, who were made in his image to live forever after with Him in a perfect environment.
When I realized this ... I made up my mind that what ever sorrow and suffering I might face during this brief life would be worth the chance to spend forever after perfected ... and in a perfect place. This is the hope that I have that makes this time of long suffering bearable. Accepting this fate with Hope helps me find some level of happiness in all things.
