Romney was surrounded by Democrats in Massachusetts... in both legislative bodies. Murder of the innocent unborn is what you get when Democrats are in control.

Thanks brother.

I would love to share a beer with you, as we plan our assault on Romney, and bring Americans together to endorse someone that will champion those causes that we stand for.

I agree with this sentiment.

I think Dave is one of the brightest here. I think I have lost him as a friend though, being he has told me publicly that I am his enemy. Now if he meant that or not, I don't know.
We are just sharpening each other's swords. :D

And the funny thing is.... on election night, if Obama gets swept out of office I will be glad. I will celebrate! Because I will be glad that there is a referendum against his socialistic and sloppy administration.
YES!

And then, I will set my sights on Romney opposing anything he does that is immoral or harmful to this country.
YES!

Romney is the PERFECT candidate to elect for the next 4 years, and here is why...

If Obama is elected, Romney will run again, or someone like him, in 2016. Republicans, especially republican "conservatives" are naive, and they expect Romney to bring in "conservative" changes. When this does not happen, many will wake up to the fact, that Romney was a liar. This can and will produce a political shift. It will be the perfect opportunity to raise up a candidate who will champion a truly conservative platform. If Romney is elected now, that champion can be our next president in 2016. If Obama is elected, you will be looking at 2020 before it becomes a real possibility.

True conservatives, "constitutionalists", or whatever, blew it these last four years. They need to start their campaigning now, passionately and aggressively for 2016. That is, if they don't throw away their vote now and give Obama 4 more years.

Your strategy is silly. If Romney is elected, he will be the incumbent. Republicans don't throw off incumbents and substitute challengers.

:duh:

The point is that it can foster a third, and possibly successful, political party.

I gave a complete synopsis of that verse Here, and why it does not mean what many take it to mean. That doesn't mean that I think we should do evil, but when it comes to voting, unless Jesus is running, we are always going to be voting in someone who falls short of our idea, and God's of "good".

Even Jesus would fall short of your idea, because his platform would not be what you think, in many respects.

Wouldn't it be less likely to spawn a successful conservative 3rd party if Romney wins?

After all... the vast majority of Republicans will feel appeased.

On the other hand, if Romney loses then you will have an interesting fight between the old-school Repubs and the up-and-coming Tea Party types.

OK that's true, although very unlikely to be "successful" since there aren't enough "right wing fanatics" even in the USA to actually elect a candidate. But at least that would be workable as a means of supporting your goals.

But I think Knight would have a point too; why not support your principles now, and start building that 3rd party now? It's already clear that Romney doesn't stand for anything at all.

He would by adamantly against abortion and birth control.
He would be against homosexuality, not to mention homo marriage
He would be pro death penalty for evil behavior

To name a few

I think we have some momentum now, and I think that putting the repub in office, will be the straw that breaks the camel's back. Everyone will see that the naysayers are right about how liberal the repubs really are.

I see that as highly unlikely. But it's really hard to predict, you could be right.

I will be serious, I am having a hard time seeing that.

You may be right, people are not all that observant, and sadly, most Christians are incredibly gullible. Even if Romney does not put in two "pro-life" judges on the SC, it probably will not stop chrys from saying he will the next term.

btw... my concerns might be unfounded, but I am very concerned what might happen (without sounding conspiratorial) with 4 more years of Obama.

Oh I hear ya there. On that we can agree, Obama is a nightmare. He's the worst president this country has every seen - by a mile.
