There is no evidence that asymptomatic spread of covid19 is a thing and there isn't any evidence at all that wearing a mask prevents the spread of the disease either so no, it hasn't anything to do with you wanting to be responsible nor your wanting others to be responsible. Responsible people make decisions and support policies that are based on reality and facts and results, not on virtue signaling and warm fuzzy feelings.
