“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” -2 Chronicles 7:14
Why are you ignoring the context of that verse. It has nothing to do with being saved from one's sins and being granted eternal life:
When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people,if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. - 2 Chronicles 7:13-14

And did you notice the part where God defines EXACTLY who He's talking about doing this for?
"if
My people who are CALLED BY MY NAME"
"El" is one of God's names.
Isra-
EL
"The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob" is another of God's names.
God put part of His name in Abram's name, the "H" sound, from YHWH, changing it to Abr
AHam, and renamed Jacob to Isra
EL.
What is God saving them from?
"When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people"
What is that a result of?
Their sin.
God is NOT saying He will forgive ALL of their sins, only the sin that led Him to do the above, to shut up heaven, to send locusts, or to send pestilences, because God is MERCIFUL to those who are sorry for breaking HIS... what? HIS LAW!
