I don't believe in making nonbelievers abide by Christian law or forcing morality on people. The Bible doesn't either. So my answer to that question is "no".

I never said we should make unbelievers abide by Christian law. I said certain things should be crimes, and certain crimes should be capital crimes.

Do you believe that murderers should be executed or not? Why?

Good luck there with this one. They don't see the compassionate, merciful, long suffering Christ in the NT. They see a wrathful, vengeful, judging God of the OT. They fail to see the complete work of the cross, and that Jesus bore the sins of ALL....homosexuals also. They just need to repent and accept the One who bore their sins.

I'll agree on the murderers being executed even if they repent, but not the homosexuals. Homosexuality is a sin Brandon...NOT a crime. It's a sin of the flesh. You have had a few sins of the flesh also...lust and pornography. How should we dicipline you even though you have repented?

It's all about mercy and grace right now. If our government doesn't have punishments for certain crimes OR SINS, then if these people do not repent, they get God's judgment on the last day.. It's as simple as that.

If you are caught commiting a crime and you repent great then the LAW has done its job and now you should be punished. If it was a capital crime you should be sent to meet your saviour. Amen. And if you were truly saved you would want that too.. So that others would see the cost of sin and avoid it..

And God never said lust should be a crime, however, I think pornogrpahy should. But I see no reason to make it a capital crime.
