Hyper-Calvinism isn't the answer!
Hyper-Calvinism isn't the answer!
24 And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not.
25 And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers,
26 Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive:
27 For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
28 Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.

You don't preach the Gospel; you preach "Hyper-Calvinism!"
Isa 55:11
11 So shall my word[Gospel] be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please or desire, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
2 Cor 2:15-16
15 For we[Gospel Preachers] are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish[lost]:
God is Pleased with the Preaching of Christ for either purpose !
16 To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?
Yes God purposely sends His Word of Salvation or Gospel directly to the Lost and reprobated, but just not for a saving and converting purpose, but for a hardening and condemning purpose, like here stated in Isaiah Isa 6:8-10
8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
9 And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.
10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.
In fact Paul refers to this very point when he knew it was finally time to leave them and turn to the gentiles with the Word of Salvation, observe Acts 28:24-28
Yes, all the reprobate are already condemned any way, but God is pleased to aggravate or make worse their condemnation , for remember the words of Jesus here to the reprobate Jn 15:22
22 If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin.
or Jn 9:41
Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.
Now this doesnt mean if Christ had not never came and spoke to them that they would have not still been sinners, or they were sinless, but if He had not come to them, they would not have sinned to a greater degree of Light that He brought among them, John 3:19
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
The evil deeds here believe it or not is false religion, ungodly judaism !
It was God's purpose to heap death unto death, condemnation upon condemnation, and with these non elect jews there was no way possible that they could believe and be saved, that would have been counter to God's express purpose. For with the non elect, God only designs by the Gospel only to fit them more and more for the day of destruction Rom 9:22
22 What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
Job 21:30
That the wicked is reserved to the day of destruction? they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath.
They have been foreordained to condemnation Jude 1:4 as well as given over to a reprobate mind to believe a lie 2 Thess 2:10-12, that they cannot receive the Love of the Truth, because they are not of the Truth as Jesus says here Jn 18:37 !
Excellent post!
God hardens the hearts of whomever He pleases, and He is the First Cause of them rebelling
against Him according to His intended purpose, and yet has the right to hold them accountable.
So then, it's pure idolatry for anyone to believe that their freewill decision, or any other
works of the flesh, can override God's foreordained Purpose Rom. 9:22-23 KJV
Prov. 19:21 There are many devices in a man's heart;
nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.

as well as unto them, or "even as they"; for though the Gospel was preached to the Israelites in the wilderness, in the ministry of Moses, and by types and sacrifices; yet they were not evangelized by it, or cast into a Gospel mould, or brought into a Gospel spirit: however, it was preached unto them; which shows the antiquity of it; the sameness of the method of salvation in all ages; the necessity of salvation by Christ, and the unity of Christ's church under different dispensations:
I don't believe in predestiny.
If you're arguing for predestiny, then why preach the Gospel at all? It would be useless to try to save someone predestined for hell and a waste of time to preach it to someone predestined for heave. God take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, for he desires that ALL be saved. Jesus Christ died on the cross for ALL, and he said come to me WHOEVER WILL. It is God that saves, but we must believe on the Lord Jesus Christ willingly. All people have a choice to accept or reject the Gospel, and that is clear in the scripture. Calvinism is nonsense.
