Yes it demolishes the false satanic dcotrines of mans freewill in salvation ! Thats the #1 reason why religious men hate it !

Yep (John 1:13). The concept of man's freewill choice to become saved
comes from his own understanding, in his depraved state.

Yep, which understanding is darkened by satan the god of this world. Eph 4:18

Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

2 Cor 4:3-4

3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Their only chance is being rescued; delivered from the power of darkness (Acts 26:18),
which God will do for all the ones Christ died for (Col. 1:13).

The very fact that they think their own freewill choosing caused them to become saved
is alone symptomatic of still being under the power of satan; still in a state of unbelief.

Unless a person is Born from Above he is still in the flesh; not spiritually alive.
So, according to Rom. 8:7-8 KJV, he does not even have the ability to please or obey God.

The Gospel as the Power of God unto Salvation !

The Gospel as the Power of God unto Salvation !

Rom 1:16

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

1 Cor 1:18

18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

Now understand something, for this to occur, that is the Saving Purposes of the Gospel, The Spirit and the Word / Preaching must go together, they must be combined to make the Gospel the Power of God unto Salvation. If it is not like that, then we only have what Paul calls the Word only as here 1 Thess 1:5

For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.

You see, when the Preached Word comes in Word only, its not going to be believed unto the conversion of the soul, or its only a temporary superficial conversion like the stony heart hearers Jesus speaks of here Matt 13:20-21 ; Lk 8:13,20-21

But whenever the Gospel is combined with the Spirit of God, it is by them received, and not in word only as Per 1 Thess 1:5

5 For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.

The word Power Dunamis is the same word for power in Rom 1:16 which means :

strength power, ability inherent power, power residing in a thing by virtue of its nature, or which a person or thing exerts and puts forth
power for performing miracles

The Spirit gives the Word of the Gospel that Power, which always translates unto the ones its directed to, their believing, thats exactly what Rom 1:16 and 1 Cor 1:18 means. Pauls Preaching came with such Power and Authority being empowered by the Holy Ghost upon them that heard him, that they were assured that it was the Truths of God being received by them, and whenever this is the case, it is the Word of God and its inherent power by the Holy Ghost working effectually in them that believe 1 Thess 2:13

13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

In other words, we know it [the word of God accompanied by the Spirit's power] is working effectually when you are believing ! Believing here is a present active participle, there present state of believing is consequential of the Word of God being presently effectual by the Spirit's power at work with it !

This is a serious indictment against the antichrist followers who attribute Believing the Gospel to the freewill of man, such anti God teaching usurps the Power of the Spirit, and just as bad if not worse is the blasphemous teaching that the Spirit may try to get you to believe the Truth but His Power may be resisted and His efforts unsuccessful because of the will of man, all such false teaching is Blasphemy, even Blasphemy against the Holy Ghost, The Power of God !

The Gospel as the Power of God unto Salvation ! 2

The Gospel as the Power of God unto Salvation ! 2

The Gospel being the Power of God unto Salvation as previously discussed also is harmonious with Paul's Teaching here 2 Thess 2:13

13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

Please Keep in Mind, these are the same ones He previously wrote 1 Thess unto with such Truhts stated as we previously looked at 1 Thess 1:5

5 For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.

1 Thess 2:13

13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

So this effectually at work in those believing, is harmonious with The sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the Truth in 2 Thess 2:13 !

And the Salvation of 2 Thess 2:13 is consistent with that in Rom 1:16 !

Amen! A person comes to believe the Gospel of his salvation because the Spirit is already working
His power in him Eph. 1:19 KJV, and working His power in the one doing the preaching Eph. 3:7 KJV.

Correct, thats why Paul says He and other NT Preachers, The other Apostles and their co preachers were Ministers of the New Testament or Covenant and said this:

2 Cor 3:5-6

5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

Their Ministry was geared towards those whom the Spirit gives Life out of the Resurrected Christ who died for them, their Last Adam 1 Cor 15:45

45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

Christ having died for them accomplished for them Justification of Life Rom 5:18 and that Life is given them, then the Spirit works effectually in them to believe the Gospel that is sent to them ! Thats all part of the New Covenant Ministry, its geared to them that the Spirit gives Life 2 Cor 3:6

6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

That giving Life, is the greek word[zóopoieó]
for life in 1 Cor 15:45 where the Mediator of the New Covenant gives Life !

They imagine that the success of God's work of salvation is dependent upon man's will to cooperate.

Blasphemy indeed!

Gives Knowledge of Salvation , Remission of sins !

Gives Knowledge of Salvation , Remission of sins !

Lk 1:77

77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,

This tells us that remission or forgiveness of sins has Salvation in it, in the sphere of it is Salvation, so consequently everyone for whom Christ shed His Blood for, for the remission of sins Matt 26:28

28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

hath in that Mercy, Salvation, they are Saved from the penalty of sin and its consequences, which unbelief is an consequence of the penalty of sin !

Its to be Preached to them Christ died for Lk 24:47

47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Acts 2:38

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 10:43

43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

To them that have it through Christ's Name, God gives Knowledge of it, by the Spirit the Knowledge of it is applied so that it enlightens the understanding, which He gives to understand that through Christ,God has been given fn your behalf, a full propitiation/ satisfaction for all your sins and its penalty, and because of that, He has declared us Justified in His Sight, for God gives this Spiritual Knowledge to His People Matt 1:21

21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.

The word knowledge in Lk 1:77 is the greek word gnōsis and means:

I.knowledge signifies in general intelligence, understanding
A.
the general knowledge of Christian religion

B.
the deeper more perfect and enlarged knowledge of this religion, such as belongs to the more advanced

C.
esp. of things lawful and unlawful for Christians

D.
moral wisdom, such as is seen in right living

Its the same word for Knowledge Paul uses here 2 Cor 4:3-6

6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

God shines this Light into us to give the Light of the Gospel by His COMMAND !

Powerful Truths!

This experimental knowledge of our Salvation God gives, is an assurance that we have total remission of sins and all
of its penalty; that we have been Justified freely by His Grace through the Redemption that is in Christ Jesus! Rom. 3:24 KJV.
For the powerful Light of this knowledge which by God's Command has shined in our hearts is evidence of the Spirit's Power
working in us! He gives us by the Gospel, a Knowledge experimentally of Salvation, Remission of sins:

Eph. 1:13-15 KJV - In whom ye also trusted , after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also
after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the
redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in
the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints

2 Peter 1:2-4 KJV Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him
that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these
ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

The Good News of Remission of sins !

The Good News of Remission of sins !

The Good News of Remission of sins , thats what the Gospel is to them that are saved, its the good news of their Salvation through the remission of their sins Lk 1:77, by the blood of Christ, Eph 1:7,13

7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins[Thats Salvation], according to the riches of his grace;

13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation[In Vs 7]: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Lk 1:77

77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,

Listen, everyone Christ died for shall hear of and receive the Knowledge of the remission of their sins, because its only right and appropiate ! You see all for whom Christ died, He for them paid and satisfied for them a large debt to God's Law and Justice; Yes Christ in His Person and Work, representing them, did pay off their infinite debt, He has paid it in full, and now they are due a payment in full of receipt from the One whom the debt was owed, but now has been paid !

It is now incumbent ,obligatory on the One to whom the debt was owed, but now paid, to inform the debtors He had, but now their debt is paid, to inform them of the Good News of the remission of the debt or the relinquishment of the debt, that its paid in full , that equates to what is written here Lk 1:77

77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,

Its similar to this, suppose you or i owed a financial institution a humongous debt, that frankly and honestly, we know we don't have the resources to pay it, yet unknowing to us, a undiscovered Sponsor does on our behalf, does pay that debt out we owed in full, and not only that put some funds to our good on that debt, it is now necessary for that financial institution that has been paid in full, and even has received additional revenue for your good, it is essential for it to inform you of that good news, that our humongous debt we owed to it, has been paid in full, and that is what sums up the meaning of hearing the Gospel of Our Salvation, and being enabled to repose, rest in that Good News Eph 1:7,13 that awful debt that plagued our mind and peace has been paid, remitted, no more debt owed, it was paid by our Sponsor in our name , and now you need to know about it !

That Good News, the forgiveness or remission of their sins is revealed TO THEM in the Gospel of their Salvation, in conformity to Lk 1:77

77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,

We know they are His People because of Eph 1:4

4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

They are the the ones He foreknew Rom 11:2

2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel saying,

Now it is appointed in the Eternal Purpose of God, that for everyone Christ died, obtaining for them before the Throne of God, Remission of their sins, and making them Righteous Rom 5:19 by His Obedience, it is appointed to them to believe Acts 13:48;Pjil 1:29, all for whom Christ's Righteousness has been imputed to them, laid to their charge, as a consequence they shall believe, because it makes them Just before God, which promise is this Rom 1:17

17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

And how does Faith cometh ? Rom 10:17

17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

It comes by Hearing the Good News of their Salvation Eph 1:7,13 the remission of sins ! Its revealed to be according to the Richs of His Grace Eph 1:7

7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

What a sad thing in deed, to see those trapped by false doctrines.

Those believing a false gospel are the one who stumble at the word,
being disobedient because to them it was appointed! 1 Pet. 2:8 KJV

2 Corinthians 4
v3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
v4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not,
lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

And...

John 8:47 KJV
He that is of God heareth God's words:
ye therefore hear them not, because
ye are not of God

They love darkness more than the light.

God did not make them love darkness more than the light.

If we could not hear and believe God until after we received the Holy Spirit, then God would have NOT needed to harden anyone.
