It's surreal to behold, that's for sure. It would make more 'sense' if America was some sort of totalitarian state but it isn't. There's free access to multimedia whereby actual news can be ascertained through various outlets and corroborated through any objective means, unlike places like Russia where it's effectively one channel of state controlled broadcasting. Yet the insanity still prevails.I literally believe that we have an epidemic of mental illness in this country. Not sure if Trump caused it directly or if he just activated dormant insanity in others with his own psychopathology, but there it is.
Here in the UK, there's been a load of controversy with the current PM - Boris Johnson - over violating Covid lockdown rules amid plenty other politicians within his own party. He's been fined for breaching them and the leader of the opposition - Keir Starmer - has been clamouring for his resignation. It's since transpired that he himself may well have done the same and is any of it really a surprise? Nope...People are generally fed up of the same ole same ole in politics overall and yet in America there's those who still see Trump as some sort of hero...gotta be something in the water over there...
