I mean, what can be really known about God? The only things we know about God are what we believe.
Note that we can know things about God just by seeing the universe (Romans 1:20).
See post #305 above.
. . . Isaiah has been tampered with over time so it really doesn't qualify as truth or proof of fulfilled prophecy.
Note that there is no proof that Isaiah, or any other scripture as we have it today, has been tampered with over time.
That is why the scriptures have always been all that we need for salvation from hell (2 Timothy 3:15 to 4:4).

In any event, what you have offered here in no way helps me understand why God allows evil to exist.
Because otherwise there would be no free will.
The idea that the devil makes people do evil, or is responsible for the fall of man, God's curse on this planet, original sin, etc. I think that's mainly just religion and superstition.
Note that neither the devil nor God ever makes anyone do evil (James 1:14-15).

I wonder if it’s an anthropomorphic projection to equate a king (human ruler) to God, the Maker of All Things. Probably is.
No, it is accurate (Malachi 1:14b).
For human rulers can only approximate God's rule. That is, human kingship is just a pale shadow of God's Kingship.
. . . Christians believe some people are Gods people and some are not. They are wrong.
Note that they aren't. For while God is the only Creator (Malachi 2:10), not all people are God's people in the sense of serving Him, instead of serving the devil (John 8:44).

Everything you think, feel and do is based on the fact that your body is controlled by your brain.
Do not forget that you also have a soul and a spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:23).
And it is the latter (if unsaved) which goes down conscious into hell after the death of the body (Luke 12:5).

The problem is that normal is crazy in and of itself.
That brought to mind:
1 John 5:19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Sounds like political correctness.

I think a good definition of crazy would include the inability to see, understand, or accept things as they really are.
That can be a judgment from God (Isaiah 6:9-13).

The simple life is the best life.
Amen (2 Corinthians 11:3; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4).
