No it doesn't. You cannot legally hide income from the IRS.

then gets told basically how dare he speak to the Brits like that, where he says, "From his king, absolutely!"
Now picture Manafort, on the charge he lied to the IRS, and he says "you speak to the king in this manner, and Manafort says, to his king, absolutely!

Those who prefer to be a little better informed and not have their thoughts spoon-fed to them might want to see what Coleen Rowley has to say about Mueller. You remember Coleen Rowley. She was the FBI special agent in Minneapolis, the whistleblower whose hair was practically on fire over the way the FBI bungled the Zacarias Moussaoui investigation.
In a recent piece, Rowley writes that “Mueller denied or downplayed the significance of warnings” about the 9/11 attacks.
But wait. There’s more.
“The truth is,” says Rowley,“as top law enforcement officials of the George W. Bush Administration (Mueller as FBI Director and James Comey as Deputy Attorney General), both presided over post-9/11 cover-ups and secret abuses of the Constitution, enabled Bush-Cheney fabrications used to launch wrongful wars, and exhibited plain vanilla incompetence.
Rowley also raised the issue of Mueller’s possible role when he was Acting U.S. Attorney in Boston, “covering up of the FBI’s illicit deals with mobster Whitey Bulger and other ‘top echelon’ informants who committed numerous murders and crimes.”
Having the respect of the Establishment is no badge of honor. It is usually nothing more than evidence that one has served the purposes of the Establishment.
