Who was the promise made to?

The original covenant nullifies the covenant of works, because the original covenant couldn't be put into effect until the one through whom the promise would be instigated came.

So now we have believers like Abraham who are justified by faith, and through Spiritual birth are joined to Christ (Abraham's son according to the flesh), and so through him we are now spiritually related to Abraham.

Galatians 3:29 And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham‘s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

So simple.

Note: Andy's teaching explains the very PURPOSE of the New Covenant, which has been effectual for all believers in God's promises since the garden. (Genesis 3:15)

Galatians 3:16 Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, "And to seeds," as of many, but as of one, "And to your Seed," who is Christ.

Do you see how STP is denying that the promise was to Abraham?

The promises (plural)

Till the seed should come to whom the promise (singular) was made

That the promise (singular) by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.



Why won't you believe?

Preached that "the New Covenant" to all those living creatures today, eh Ms PigPen? Did you preach "The Gospel of the New Covenant" to any cattle recently?

The promise "singular" is about Abraham being a father of many nations which is talking about the Holy Spirit which people receive through faith in Christ.

Galatians 3:14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Why do you deny that Christ was given the Spirit?

John the baptist was given the Spirit. Do you deny that?
And yet this had nothing to do with the promise to Abraham.
