Limited Atonement Means Limited Faith

Thats part of the Gospel you reject !

To NOT believe that Jesus atoned for the sins of the whole world is to believe that Jesus is not Lord. To believe that Jesus is not Lord is to condemn yourself to hell. Plain and simple.

No faith, No salvation.

Limited Atonement is a Gospel Truth, to deny it, shows that one is still in unbelief !

Salvation is not applied to anyone.
Redemption is applied to those who place faith in Jesus Christ through the sacrament of Baptism. If Christ's Redemption has not been applied to you by the Holy Spirit, then you are not "born from above" as Jesus says one must be in order to be his disciple. Even your fellow Protestants recognize and teach this reality:

J. Murray, REDEMPTION: Accomplished & Applied (Eerdmans, 1955)

It is provided for everyone as a free gift from God.
Yes, yet the universal redemption accomplished for all by Christ must also be applied in reality to the individual by grace through faith, by means of Baptism. (See just above.)

The Bible teaches that all who come to Christ as repentant sinners are sealed with the Holy Spirit and are placed "In Christ".

Baptism has nothing to do with it.

This is what Paul meant when he wrote...

"This only would I learn of you, did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law (because you did something) or by the hearing of faith? (hearing and believing the Gospel) Galatians 3:2.

Yes, redemption is thus applied to them, just as I've already observed. Here you merely prove my point.

Baptism has nothing to do with it.
...according to the assumptions and opinions that you have derived from your preferred recently-invented, man-made non-Catholic sect, anyway.

By contrast, the biblical teaching on Baptism is outlined here and here.

Baptism is a work. We are not saved or justified by works.

"Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin" Romans 3:20.

"For as many as are under the works of the law are under a curse" Galatians 3:10.

You teach that a person is saved by what they do!

The theology of atonement did not come from Jesus. It was a later concept that was overaid on his life and death to help later followers make some theological sense of the idea that he was killed by Rome and the priests as a common criminal.

The idea of him serving as some sort of blood sacrifice would have seemed disgusting to Jesus. As a Jew, he believed in the ancient tradition of repentance and mercy, not sacrifice.

The first theology of the atonement was written down about 900 years after the crucifixion by the medieval Christian Anselm of Canterbury.
