I am against such awful pictures of Obama and Trump. Both are despicable. It is in massively poor taste and I thought people would be arrested for threatening the president. The biggest problem is that it doesn't help the discourse in America. There is more than two sides in politics because not everyone thinks in such black and white terms. While I lean left I am not a leftist and I don't approve of violence or coercion for political clout. I don't believe in dark room politics which is very underway now. I am for the light. Those who do use violence are in need of mental help if not institutionalization.

I have been closely watching my Republican representative and at this point I am considering voting for them in the next election. I have voted for Republicans in the past. I cannot be pegged like some love to do here. Until this country starts valuing TRUTH above party and stops this US v THEM mentality we will lose the freedoms that so many have died for and defended. That is what is offensive to me.

A disease that can go into remission. I am proud to be an American and have high hopes. I grew up in the cold war/civil rights/vietnam/watergate era. As a young person I really thought the US was doomed. Seeing it grow and prosper has given me a positive attitude towards its future. As long as we learn to live and love one another we can reverse this disease.
