I looked in 1082, and a lot of text, and no reference to a single Biblical text which says that God is a trinity. Just doesn't exist.
Are you actually demanding to be shown the word "trinity" in the Bible? Please, then, cite the biblical text which states that "only terms that appear explicitly in Scripture may be used by Christians to describe their faith."

And verse five says;

John 17:5 King James Version (KJV)

5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

You forget that Christ spoke through Jesus. Jesus did not exist until he was born. Christ, a spirit, did, and needed a body to act in.

Christ was Jesus from birth forward;

Luke 2:11 King James Version (KJV)

11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

Yah! You'd think the Father knows who is God!

(Hebrews 1:6-8)

And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says,

“Let all God’s angels worship him.”

In speaking of the angels he says,

“He makes his angels spirits,

and his servants flames of fire.”

But about the Son he says,

“Your throne, O God,
will last for ever and ever;

a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.

Oops. :noway:

What does verse 9 say?

Notice the words God, Your God, has anointed You ..........

This is Christ, he has a God yet he is "a" god. Phil 2, says he is a form of God that took the form of man. Who is this form of god? Hint, the created spiritual son of the most high God. The express image of the Father who was given the fullness of the father. He became a man and lived among us, his human name was Jesus. However it was Christ who laid the foundation on the universe, not Jesus who was born into this world. Jesus Christ is the son of the most high God. And he will never be as great as his creator. Did he not tell us that his Father is greater than ALL?

Again, when will it stop?

If he was Christ at his birth he would not have needed to grow in wisdom. Christ has the fullness of the Father, Christ created everything, he is a god like spirit. Why would God put that power into a baby? God waited until Jesus was thirty years old before he anointed him with Christ.
The book of Luke was written about forty to fifty years later. It speaks of the past. Do I have to go to President Kennedy again?

Proof that you do not know how to understand what you read.

Note verse three, the Father is the ONLY TRUE GOD.

Jesus is not God, he is a son/servant of God.

What you say proves nothing about God's Truth.

Why won't you answer the question?

Tell me, what Spirit did you receive when you were saved?

If you could answer, then I will show you the truth.

Jesus is God.

What is keeping you from answering the question?

Anyone who claims Jesus saved them and gave them the Holy Spirit. I can show you easily that Jesus is God the Father and the Holy Spirit.

You don't have the truth to show GT.

Until you learn to understand what you read you remain clueless.

No one is yet saved GT. You got to die first. Saving comes later.
I know you will not understand that. But the race is not won until its over.

For me to die is gain. My death day will be better than the day of my birth.
Why? Because Christ lives in my heart and has filled me with joy.
He taught me to love and to share. Is this the Holy Spirit in me?
Or the spirit of God, or of his Christ! Does it matter?
I have the love that radiates from my God who I believe has brought me knowledge beyond my wildest dreams.

Maybe someday you will understand, but not soon.

If you knew God you would not have rejected Jesus Christ. Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from him comes to Jesus.
That is what Jesus said to the Jews.

Bs'd

So obviously it was wrong what he said.

Just like his prophecies were wrong.

If he was Christ at his birth he would not have needed to grow in wisdom.
He would have needed to, if He came as a servant:

"Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. (Philippians 2:6-7)

God waited until Jesus was thirty years old before he anointed him with Christ.
"And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born."
(Matthew 2:4)

Sound like JW reasoning to me.

Are you saying there are 2 gods?

There is only one true God but he created his express image who is a form of God. That image is Christ. Read Her 1:3, Col 1:15 and Phil 2. God created his spiritual image which he used to create everything else.

Jesus Christ is the son/servant of his father who is the most high God. The term most high God tells us that there are others considered as gods. Jesus and Moses are gods but not the most high God.

God is a spirit, his express image would also be a spirit. Not a man. Christ, the spiritual son, was sent to us. He needed a body to live in, God prepared a body for him in Jesus. The spirit became flesh. That is when God declared that "This is my son"

Exodus 12:12
12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord.

Was God lying or telling the truth?
Did God execute judgment against all the gods of Egypt?

You testify that you are not yet saved.

You are the one without the Truth.

We die in this world now, if we want to be saved. We die to the sins of the world. That is about dying in the flesh. We are born again, and live through the Spirit of God...which you refuse to show any knowledge about.
