The PLO declared that Palestine was a nation on 15 November 1988
That is the first time in history that Palestine was ever officially declared to be a nation.
The list of countries recognizing Palestine are found here:
International recognition of the State of Palestine
The countries in green recognize Palestine as a nation.

Is it or is it not true, by measure of the population of true Christians in this world, which is also to recognize the world replete with so-called Christians of cults and other fakes not the faith of scripture, that the vast majority of the world is not Christian, Matthew 20:16, 22:14? According to Christianity, one not actually born again of the Spirit is unregenerate, spiritually dead, a child of the devil, not God. The Bible speaks clearly as to what the world, that evil system, at large, is and has always been, spells out its eventual doom and destruction. Your whole world of recognition of whatever is headed for the junk heap at Armageddon.

So here's the question. If the whole world system of Satan and everybody in it recognize anything, does that make it good? Or, in fact, is this more likely to make it bad, very bad? Do you feel comfortable with, as it were, "Hi. I'm Satan, and I endorse this message!"?

In any event, in scripture, Jerusalem is the eternal capital of Israel, God the consummate Zionist, His plan. Get out your gloves and box with Him over this. Lots of luck with that, by the way.

And yet, they have the same recognition within the UN as the Vatican City, a nominally independent organ of the Catholic Church located inside the city of Rome. As such, they can't raise questions related to their own human rights before international bodies that hold competence to investigate them and punish transgressions.

Wondered when someone would start this thread. Yep another small step in end times prophesy being fulfilled:

1. Jewish Americans must return to Israel on mass.

2. Israel must become the most powerful nation on Earth.

3. The temple must be rebuilt.

4. The False Prophet High Priest must take over Israel.

That would be neo-Judaism. It is nowhere in the NT. Everything was made 'new' in Christ. New covenant, David, temple, Passover, Jerusalem, etc.

Those are not the reasons for having the capital there. Forget it.

The reasons are: if you are going to 'return the place to the land it was originally' you would have to delete Islam from the area. That's not going to happen. You would also revive a nature cult that burnt the babies born from sex between the best farmers and prize pagan temple under-age virgins. I assume there would be international outcry about that because it would be a form of sex trafficking; maybe not.

None of the four points above are found in NT eschatology, read accurately, about its own generation. When the end of the world was expected immediately. It no longer is.

Well we'll find out very soon, the preparations for the rebuilding of the temple are well underway. As for the Muslims they are part of the end times scenario because the Anti-Christ will be the Muslim Mahdi. You'll see the 7 year tribulation begin in 2022.

Well we'll soon see because after 3.5 years of sacrificing in temple the Anti-Christ will stop the sacrifices.

:rotfl::darwinsm::rotfl::darwinsm::rotfl::darwinsm::rotfl::darwinsm::rotfl::darwinsm:

The prophecies in the Bible do not say the "Anti-Christ" will stop sacrifices in the temple after 3.5 years.
You have been taught a false interpretation.

Ten days before he was assassinated in Tel Aviv, Israeli prime minister Yitzhak Rabin gave a speech in Washington about the city of Jerusalem.

“Jerusalem is the heart of the Jewish people and a deep source of our pride,” Rabin said at an event recognizing the 3,000th year of the city’s existence.
“We differ in our opinions, left and right,” he said as the speech concluded. “We disagree on the means and the objective. In Israel, we all agree on one issue: the wholeness of Jerusalem, the continuation of its existence as capital of the State of Israel. There are no two Jerusalems. There is only one Jerusalem. For us, Jerusalem is not subject to compromise, and there is no peace without Jerusalem.”
That speech was given Oct. 25, 1995. On Nov. 4, a far-right student fatally shot him.
The evening before his speech, the Congress of the United States passed a law echoing Rabin’s assertions about the city. Spurred by the desire to act before Rabin’s visit, the House and Senate passed a bill called the “Jerusalem Embassy Act,” which formally recognized the city as the country’s capital and called for the U.S. Embassy in Israel to be moved there from Tel Aviv by 1999. Support for the bill was overwhelming. It passed the Senate by a 93 to 5 vote, with four Republicans and one Democrat voting no. It passed the House 374 to 37, with 153 Democrats joining most of the new Republican majority that had swept into power in 1994.
