Why not? It exemprary Engrish.
If you are at the center of the earth, gravity is zero because all the mass around you is pulling "up" (every direction there is up!).

Sum zero gravity is not NO gravity.
Rather, every direction is "down." Gravity pulls regardless of distance.
It's not even "sum zero."
Don't forget that other objects besides the earth (or whatever body you're at the center of) are pulling on you as well, even distant stars and galaxies. The effects of their pull might be too small to measure, but they still have an effect.
