I will not vote for trump

You cannot change the constitution of a nation by fiat, or mob rule. It will take a 3/4 majority of these ingrates to change this nation, and as we see a greater majority are quite turned off by the changes that 48% wrought over the past 7 1/2 years, in fact I believe after living it, seeing the voting numbers, most Americans reject it and the worldview that comes with it. People want change for sure but, what the marxists have brought is not the change they were looking for and the pendulum has swung the other direction as we all can see.

They may be turned off [I am not so convinced] but what the Trump factor shows is that they sure aren't ready to come home to pappy [the GOP]

He always said who he was "yelling at"...people who did what he's now about to do.

Seems a bit...problematic.

I find Chrys's current rant to be extremely humorous, he goes on and on with others that he will vote for the nominee and how they should too but, now that the nominee doesn't fit his sensibilities he abandons his position, taking up the opposing argument. It is just delicious I tell ya! :rotfl:

The GOP is the same entity as the liberal left Totty, a different form yes but, the same government control, same crony ruling class, and society sees Trump as the answer to fixing that problem. Coming to Trump is a rejection of the GOP, pure & simple but, what he will bring is anyones guess, Trump's views are populist so they change with the wind, you never know the man might do a great job :idunno:. What the country needs is a constitutionalist, someone that will restore order & lead by the one document which has been the blueprint of America's success since it's inception, and outside of that I don't see any change that can last. Time will tell if we can recover our republic....

By getting some of them to vote for him, and getting enough dems to vote in the republican primaries.
As a point of fact, the majority of them do not support Trump. Has he ever gotten over 50%? I don't think so. The majority of votes has gone to "Not Trump".

The majority of the party switchover vote is non-trump? Stats for that?

You didn't think Chrys was going to get away with an about face on a position he has not only held near & dear but, has been railing on others about did you? Please....

well, he's half right, as far as i'm concerned - i've always advocated voting for the best candidate you can find in the primary and voting against the worst candidate running in the general

in the primaries, i wouldn't consider trump at all, except as a rude slap in the face to the RNC

in the general, i'd vote for whoever I had to to defeat hillary

(as if my vote counts in the general :ha: )

I agree with that as well but, that is not the position Chrys has waffled on now is it?

Pretty much the same where I live as well but, we put our best effort forward to keep the felon out of office.

You cannot have a country without specific laws, borders, language, and culture. When these tenets begin to erode you lose your national identity, it seems that the Brits surrendered many of these & more of their personal rights for a pseudo safe society where the government is charged with their wellbeing, they stand in awe of the turmoil that is going in America but, fail to see that Americans will not surrender these things quietly as they did, and I doubt they ever will.

Couple that with the legally protected imported population they now have to coexist with -- a population that doesn't simply refuse to coexist but wants to replace all that Britain is with the caliphate -- and they have little hope. It will soon reach the point where bloody armed revolt a la the French Revolution will be the only shot they have, but they'll lose when the E.U. sends all the blue helmets in to clean up. Sad to see the end of Britain coming but they had a choice at the end of WWII to remain capitalistic or go socialistic. They chose poorly.

(some say that putting two generations of their best through the meat grinders of both wars - especially the First - took its toll on the population that resulted, but I'm not fully convinced of that)

You really have not even the remotest clue what you're talking about, but do carry on, it's kinda amusing...

no, but he justifies it by saying that trump's a trojan horse for hillary

obviously, i don't agree, but i can see how he can hold his position without the apparent cognitive dissonance causing his head to explode :chuckle:

Man up, Arthur, and tell the unvarnished truth for once.

1. Are you legally allowed to own a firearm and ammunition?

2. Do you legally own a firearm and ammunition?

3. If someone attacks you in your home, do you have the legal right to use that firearm to defend yourself?

Now watch...

No I don't own a firearm. Britain doesn't have a gun culture like America as bemusing as that may be to someone like you. You alarmists are just bonkers...
