The people whom Jesus will yet utter these most solemn words to: Matt 7:23
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
They were absolutely known by God’s omniscience, but they were absolute outsiders to the covenant of love and grace; and their names being left out from the Lamb’s book of life, no redemptive commensurateness was provided for them by the atoning blood/death of Christ. It means He didnt die for them, nor loved them as He did His Church that He gave himself for Eph 5:25
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
