And then you, CC and GM will make a fad out of thinking about it.

Like having your table manners critiqued by a pig.
On the plus side of things, it's good to know I give you three something to think about. lain:
Well, here's how it is with Old GM. I have a
natural flow when it comes to posting a comment, statement, opinion, witty reply, etc. You, might say, (Well maybe not you?) I work off what others say and go from there. My imagination and natural flair for Wit, sarcasm, and hyperbole do not require a huge amount of forethought or preparation. That's one of the advantages I have over posters such as yourself and your ilk.
Unfortunately, TH, you require a fan-base that automatically 'assumes' that whatever you say just has to be brilliant, amazingly Witty, profound, a thing of pure unmitigated genius, and something that has never been uttered in the history of mankind.
I've known you for many years now and I have not understood/comprehended most of your attempts at 'Wit,' sarcasm, hyperbole, and dry sense of humor.
I'm being quite honest here. This is coming from someone who has spent most of their life making others giggle, laugh out loud, smile, etc. I'm well aware of the many Intricacies involved in the area of humor and Wit. Wit/humor are comprised of many different forms of delivery. From slapstick (The Three Stooges, Charlie Chaplin) on up to satire, etc.
Your particular
brand of humor relies heavily on
mild sarcasm, and an already
accepting audience. Yours is also an
acquired taste. I realize that humor/Wit is totally and irrefutably, subjective. In conclusion, no humor is known to be universally accepted. There's room for all forms of Wit and humor. That's a good thing, right?
