Not saved or Justified by obedience to the Law !

Not saved or Justified by obedience to the Law !

If we are teaching that one is saved, or Justified, made right with God, based upon their faith, their act of believing, then we are guilty of teaching Salvation, and or Justification before God, by obeying Gods Law, because Faith is something that ought to have been done as one of the weightier matters of the Law Matt 23:23

23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

Yes, that's a false teaching of salvation by works of the Law.

Gal. 2:16
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ,
even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ,
and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Those Christ died for, they aren't Justified before God based on their own faith
or act of believing, but by His Faithfulness and Obedience to the God's Law
on their behalf.

Rom. 5:19
For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners,
so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

And Christ's keeping of this Law of Faith was one of them.

Please explain how an arbitrary choice conveys honor?

Is it honorable to be lucky?
Does the State of Texas honor those who win the Texas Sate Lottery?

Besides, neither of you know for certain that you've been the beneficiary of your god's arbitrary choice or not and you won't know for certain until you're either dead or judgment day comes. It's like you have a cosmic lotto ticket that you're not allowed to scratch off until judgment day.

The Just shall live by Faith !

The Just shall live by Faith !

This particular statement is found 3 times in the NT Rom 1:17;Gal 3:11;Heb 10:38, and once in the OT Habakkuk 2:4, and in all of them there's a certain Promise made, which is this:

" The just shall[a promise] live by faith." or as its stated once in the OT reference, "the just shall live by his faith."

Now within this Promise Two things are sure to come to past, #1 Everyone that Christ died for, in the Old and New Testament, they shall live by Faith, its guaranteed and here is why:

Everyone Christ died for, that being His Obedience unto Death, even the Death of the Cross, shall be made Just or Righteous Phil 2:8;Rom 5:19

19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

That word righteous in the greek is dikaios, which is the same word translated Just in Rom 1:17;Gal 3:11;Heb 10:38, hence by the One Obedience of Christ, His Death, the Many shall be made Righteous or Just, to which the Promise attends, "The Just shall live by Faith !"

And if Gods word of Promise is True, all for whom Christ died shall and must live by Faith.

Remember Gods shall when it came to Sarah having a Son in her old age, We read that Gods Promise was Gen 18:10,14

10 And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.

14 Is any thing too hard for the Lord? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.

Thats Gods shall promise, its even called a word of promise Rom 9:9

9 For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sarah shall have a son.

Well those Christ died for and made Just, its Gods certain Promise they shall live by Faith, as it was with His Promise, Sarah shall have a Son !
