Free Will

The call to mankind is this: And the times of this ignorance Elohim winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

All men are required to repent, but none can unless granted repentance. Jerusalem could not repent and come, because they had not been granted repentance.

Repentance is what one makes a choice to do or not do. When one repents and places their faith in Jesus then as an act of their faith they are given grace by Almighty God.

The verse in Ephesians 2:8-10 For by grace are you saved through faith it is a gift of God and not of works lest any man should boast.

If you read those verses you place your faith in Jesus ( your part ) then God gives you grace, which no man can earn by works. Pretty simple unless you pervert the scriptures and include faith as a gift which the verses do NOT say.

Can anyone place their faith in Jesus without the Father drawing them to the SON no ! Some are drawn that refuse the gift of God and some say yes to God and receive salvation.

The big mouths make accusations and assumptions that are patently false that they cannot back up with scripture as you are doing.

You cannot find ONE post where I have ever claimed I am righteous NOT ONE.

I see when you cannot refute scripture the attack goes personal. You are nothing more than a troll for LIES.

Luk 13:34
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!

Jesus' teachings says YOU are a liar and have no clue. You might want to notice that Jesus said He wanted to draw Israel to Himself and "THEY WOULD NOT" hmmm looks like they made their choice even if you reject the truth it changes nothing.

If you're not righteous then there is nothing you can do! All your choices are polluted and corrupted by sin. You choose wrong every time! God requires faith not worthless Arminian choice righteousness.

Jesus taught that y'all are both wrong:

Mar 4:14
The sower soweth the word.

Mar 4:15
And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.

Mar 4:16
And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;

Mar 4:17
And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.

Mar 4:18
And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,

Mar 4:19
And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

Mar 4:20
And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

Those that are saved Hear, receive, God's word ,and bring forth fruit.

This is a parable about faith growing in the heart! Not your worthless choices.

Jesus taught the truth UN-like you ! A parable is a truth told in story form you might want to consider that before you deny Jesus taught the truth !

The story is NOT about faith growing it is about those that reject Jesus for their own reasons and excuses and the seed that fell on good ground is about the ONLY one of the 4 that was actually saved.

Jesus taught faith over and over and over! Every miracle to Jew and Gentile required faith not choice or free will.

When you hear something you either believe it or you don't - there is no effort involved.

Of course their is effort involved and many make the choice to NOT believe truth to follow lies and darkness that is what Jesus said Satan does right ?

Rom 4:3
For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

Satan lied to Eve in the garden and based on her own desires she made the choice to disobey God.

You just added choice again and the verse says Abraham believed not exercised his free-will! Faith is not a choice - you just can't get that thru your cranium.

Is there a choice in obeying and or disobeying ? YES.

Heb 5:9
And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

BELIEVING IS A CHOICE OTHERWISE EVERYONE WOULD BELIEVE , AND SADLY MANY HAVE MADE THEIR CHOICE TO not BELIEVE.

Until you know what repentance means and from whence it comes you'll keep wandering like a blind man at noonday. The discovery of the true meaning of repentance is made in the experience and life of repentance.

Your thoughts towards man are far too high. While your thoughts towards the Eternal Almighty are far too low.

Says the person that lays all sins committed ON God !

Genesis 3:11 King James Version (KJV)

11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

Adam was created mutable and Adam became a sinner for his bride. Just as the last Adam became sin for His bride, the ecclesia. You don't seem capable of linking the type in the pre-evangel to the manifestation in the evangelism.

Here's an obvious example:
Adams fall involved a tree. The last Adams redeeming act also involved a tree. The fall involved a woman and the redeeming act involved a woman. These things didn't happen by chance. They were predetermined so that the saints would be comforted. But, it would seem your blind eyes can't even join the dots let alone find comfort.
